Obama Administration Looking To Divert Billions in Sandy Funds Away From New Jersey and New York

By Art Gallagher, [email protected]

repost-us-image-10549927The Obama Administration is considering holding a contest for areas impacted by disasters other than Superstorm Sandy.  The “winners” would get between $1 billion and $2 billion of the remaining $3.6 billion is Sandy relief dollars being doled out by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), according to a story first reported by the Wall Street Journal

The Record reports that New Jersey Congressmen Bill Pascrell Jr., D-Paterson; Albio Sires, D-West New York; and Frank Pallone, D-Long Branch, and Sen. Bob Menendez are urging HUD Secretary Shaun Donovan not to divert federal aid to projects in other parts of the country.  Members of the New York Congressional Delegation are making similar pleas.

Bookerism of the Day

Where’s Senator Cory Booker?  He’s proselytizing on twitter.

Sires told The Record that the entire New Jersey delegation could join together in opposition to a nationwide contest for the money.  That would be great!  Sires should lead the Democrats in the delegation in ending the partisanship that has been dominating the discourse over Sandy recovery and sign the letter to Donovan and Michael Boots, the Acting Chair of the White House Council on Environmental Quality that Congressman Chris Smith invited him, and all members of the delegation to sign requesting a meeting to hash out the multitude of issues New Jersey residents are having with the HUD relief process.

Obama Circle ‘Shaking with Laughter’ Over Hillary Rosen Distraction

By Ann Kane

Set em’ up, take em’ down. Did you ask yourself why Obama, Biden, Axelrod, and leftists of all stripes appeared to side with the pro-Ann Romney camp? Did it make you stop and think? Or did you buy into the distraction?

Crazy headlines like “Obama Throws Hilary Rosen Under the Bus” make you wonder why he would do that to someone who visited the White House 35 times since he became president. It’s because he isn’t really throwing her under the bus; he’s just saying he is.

Consider this excerpt from the poem “Child of Europe”:

Let your lie be even more logical than the truth itself
So the weary travelers may find repose in the lie.

After the Day of the Lie gather in select circles
Shaking with laughter when our real deeds are mentioned.

Behind the distractions, the Left, socialists, communists, Marxists whatever you want to call them have been “pushing centralization and collectivism” (see AT’s editor Thomas Lifson’s blog post) of the government right under our noses through lies and propaganda.

Republicans wonder why Obama’s buddies keep getting to set the narrative. The answer’s obvious — the Republicans keep taking the bait.

Throwing out chum to the chattering classes is right out of the Democrat consultant and Mao admirer Anita Dunn’s strategy to sidetrack us from the destructive transformative policies this administration has put in place.

Dunn’s name keeps popping up. She visits the White House regularly, and her PR firm SKDKnickerbocker was behind Sandra Fluke’s media firestorm; now we find Hilary Rosen works at SKDK.

Let’s recap the last three months just to get a handle on team Obama’s modus operandi.

In January Obama media reporter George Stephanopolous throws out a line about whether birth control should be covered in Obamacare at the Republican debate. Three weeks later what has all the conservatives in a tizzy? Sandra Fluke and her ridiculous call for free birth control and how she was wronged by a congressional committee who wouldn’t hear her case.

Non-stop media coverage ensued, but while everyone was looking at this nonsense, the administration continued to toil away 24/7 on creating and implementing socialist policies.

Next comes Trayvon Martin. His death came on February 26, but the chum throwers didn’t place it in the news cycle until March 19. More non-stop media coverage; more underground workers making the overthrow of capitalism a goal within their reach.

Now that Trayvon’s case has calmed down after the George Zimmerman arrest, enter stage right, Hilary Rosen, leftist media pundit. She makes an incendiary statement about Ann Romney “never working a day in her life,” and all hell breaks loose.

Not only are conservatives attempting to compare the illogic of this woman’s words with past remarks by feminists, but leftists are talking like they’re so above the vitriol Rosen spewed.

As a result of the Rosen affair, we’re all focused on antiquated mommy wars which were settled 50 years ago; nobody thinks stay at home moms don’t work. But that doesn’t matter. All that matters is conservatives just keep swallowing the Left’s brain candy.

And the driven-to-distraction narrative goes on…and on. We don’t have to jump every time Obama and his minions try to play us like fiddles.

The Hannitys, Becks and Limbaughs don’t need to comment. Instead they should highlight the egregious policies being practiced in the health care industry right now. They need to hammer away about the bad economy; Obama’s Achilles Heel. They need to instruct us on how centralization and collectivism happens on the street level.

They should point out how education reform is being spearheaded by Obama operatives (Anita Dunn pops up here as well; SKDK represents StudentsFirst and a mayoral candidate in NYC whom StudentsFirst is also backing) in conjunction with Republican sympathizers.

Wouldn’t it be cool if the next time the Left entices us with some manufactured crisis, we just ignore it and continue on with exposing what’s really going on?

What if Obama is declared ineligible?

What an unprecedented mess that would be.

In the unlikely event that any of the challenges to Barack Obama’s candidacy for a second term makes it all the way up to the U.S. Supreme Court and succeeds, then what?

Before the case even got that far, would Judges and Justices appointed by Obama be eligible to hear and rule on the issue?   Can you imagine Hannity or Limbaugh if they do rule?  Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann (if he gets a job) if they don’t?

If Obama is ruled ineligible to serve as President of the United States, is he immediately removed from office?  If so, who becomes President?  If Obama’s 2008 election was invalid, it seems that Joe Biden’s election as Vice President would also be invalid.   Next in line would be House Speaker John Boehner.

If John Boehner assumes the presidency, would the GOP nominate him as the 2012 candidate?  Boehner isn’t ready to retire.  Why would he want to give up the Speakership in order to be President for a few months.  Would Boehner appoint Mitt Romney as Vice President?  Would the Senate confirm Romney?  Would Romney accept the job?

Would Boehner pardon Obama?

Who do the Democrats nominate for President?  Biden?  The party never warmed to him as a presidential candidate in his multiple tries.  Hillary Clinton?  John Kerry?  Al Gore?  Jesse Jackson?  Al Sharpton?  Keith Ellison (a real American Muslim)? Cory Booker?  Dennis Kucinich?

What happens to all the laws, executive orders and appointments that Obama signed?  Is ObamaCare the law?  Are Sonya Sotomayor and Eleana Kagan Supreme Court Justices?  Did Sandra Fluke really need all of that birth control?

Obama hasn’t signed a budget sinced he’s been President, but is the debt ceiling valid?  Is all of that debt backed by the full faith and credit of the United States of America?

Would Obama owe the U.S. Treasury his salary, rent on the White House?  Would he have to reimburse the Treasury for his security and vacations?   Does he has to reimburse all his donors from the 2008 and 2012 campaigns?

I can understand why Judges would look for procedural or jurisdictional grounds not to hear such a case.

What would be better for the country?  To pursue the issues raised by the Objectors or look the other way?

THE NEW HUB OF MARXISM: WASHINGTON, DC

By Mark A. Falzon, President, Jersey Shore Tea Party

So long, Nikita.  Bye bye, Brezhnev.  Sayonara, Stalin.  Change the drapes at the Kremlin for now Washington DC, USA is the hub of global Marxist activity in the world.  Yes, the Kremlin has succumbed to the weight of time and passed the torch to North America.

This migration of the Marxist HQ has taken decades to complete.  For a while there, global Marxism has had no official home. Castro and Peking have been fermenting internal revolutions or been occupied with other things. Moscow was drained of her captive nations. But then, a consortium of undesirable elements here in this country including our vaunted press, 1960ish radicals and greedy, selfish politicians have all participated in the slaying of the grandiose experiment known as the American Republic.  Notice I use past tense because it is almost complete.  The EPA, the NLRB, un-appointed czars (now I know why they use that name!), POTUS and a DC over-regulated, centralized nanny state are in place.  To hell with individual liberty! To hell with the American Constitution.  It was written by greedy, wealthy white slave owners anyway. God knows what else the devils have put in place because surely we cannot count on our vaunted press to expose it.

After the pseudo stimulus bill was passed I noticed something not widely published.  That being, Andy Stern made a trip to Europe, stopping at many of the Euro capitals and larger cities.  The same Andy Stern that was at one time the most frequent visitor to the WH. The same Andy Stern who was the brains and brawn behind SEIU and ACORN. I asked myself, “why?” and then it hit me.  Our government, loaded with new Marxist-Leftist Radicals brought in by BHO and that Valerie Jarret were now flush with American taxpayer cash.  We all know money talks.  I ask, could Andy, as proper a Marxist representative as there is, have been parading through Europe handing out our taxpayer money to the cash starved Marxist groups all over Europe?  I asked Joe (verbal gaffe of the day) Biden who was responsible for over seeing the disbursement of the stimulus funds, but he didn’t respond.  Think about it.  Marxist now rule the roost here.  What better way to cement your global control of the Global Marxist Movement than to rain US taxpayer cash on them.  At that point, you have control and allegiance.  So long, Moscow hello DC!

Was this part of a master plan to fund the Euro demonstrations we saw last summer?  Is that same cash secretly helping OWS who is threatening to bring Euro style violent demonstrations to our shores?  Are known and unknown persons in DC calling the global Marxist Movement shots subsidized by US tax collections?  Could be! Who knows because there certainly has not been a ledger produced detailing stimulus outlays…..and even if there were what clear thinking person would believe anything to come out of this administration.  Credibility is not their strong suit.

Why mention this now?  One word, ROMNEY.  Romney is not the favorite of the Tea Party Movement.  Of the 4 candidates I would safely say he is the least liked.  The GOP Establishment with decades of experience and tons of money, appear to be having their way.  The Tea Party Movement, newbies to the political scene have lost in this GOP presidential primary process.  The GOP is poised to put their boy at the top. But there is the congress.

If a military field commander was charged with defending a city, bridge or any target, Officer training 101 would include several lines of defense.  Line A, then Line B and possibly a Line C to maintain possession and thwart the enemy.  We, the Tea Party Movement cannot influence whom we want as the GOP presidential candidate this cycle.  But there is the congress. Congress can be our second line of defense. What better way to outflank the GOP Establishment and our Marxist interlopers in one move than the Tea Party Movement influencing the senate majority leader selection and the Speaker of the House?  What a citizens’ coup!  So my Tea Party brothers and sisters, do not lament for long Romney’s apparent success.  Identify those senate and congressional candidates running that are true American patriots.  Help those we put in office 2010 stay in office.  Let’s make our new goal the following:  both congressional leadership positions must go to a member of the congressional Tea Party Caucus!  By controlling both houses of congress we can neuter a RINO president.  With a RINO president and Tea Party congress we can squash once and for all this American Marxist initiative.

Let’s get out there and continue the revolution we started September 12, 2009.  Let’s get out there and use as our goal the record setting congressional turnover in 2010 and try to build on it.  Let the GOP Establishment focus on POTUS and we should not hinder them.  We must, must have BHO removed.  We must, must have the final say in our beloved nation and an iron grip over the congress will do just that.
