Monmouth Poll: Clinton Opens Double Digit Lead Over Trump
Hillary Clinton has opened a double digit lead over Donald Trump in a nationwide poll of likely voters released by Monmouth University today. Prior to the conventions, Clinton held a slim two point lead.
Both candidates remain unpopular, but the Democrat has a growing advantage on being seen as more temperamentally suited for the presidency. Still, Clinton’s email use remains a problem for her, while voters are divided on the impact of Trump’s attitude toward Russia. The poll also found that voters are less optimistic and enthusiastic about the 2016 election than they were one year ago.
46% of registered voters support Clinton and 34% back Trump, with 7% supporting Libertarian Gary Johnson, and 2% backing Jill Stein of the Green Party. Support among likely voters stands at 50% Clinton, 37% Trump, 7% Johnson, and 2% Stein. In a poll taken days before the Republican convention in mid-July, Clinton held a narrow 43% to 40% lead among registered voters and a 45% to 43% lead among likely voters.
Clinton continues to maintain a lead in the swing states – ten states that were decided by less than seven points in the 2012 election. She holds a 42% to 34% edge over Trump in these states, which is similar to her 46% to 39% swing state lead last month.

libs, anarchists, Hollywood, and media, nice job, so far: it really comes down to whether enough people have awakened after 7 years of methodical, deliberate ruination, or whether we are finally totally dumbed- down and dependent, or not. This loaded “temperament” question is a joke: who is known to be more erratic, dishonest, phony and selfish, than that witch?? Seriously, if Monmouth called me and asked that stupid question, I’d hang up!
Would add that many Republicans that served in the GWB Administration say that Trump is not qualified to be President ..”he would be the most reckless President in American history”.

Crooked Hillary Clinton’s constant forgetfulness and repeated carelessness, not just herself, but she’s surrounded herself with people who are just as forgetful and careless; it outright disqualifies her credibility and capability to run for office.
Crooked Hillary Clinton, her husband, her daughter, and everyone she has surrounded herself with has repeatedly lied to the American public, lied to congress, lied to donors, lied to party members about every topic she has ever been asked about, and when she eventually trips over her own lies, it’s back to the “forgot” or “short-circuited” line — she is not forgetful, she is a manipulative liar; she cannot be trusted, at all, about anything. The few things that you might think that she’s telling the truth will be found to be lies as well, time has proven over and over again that Hillary Clinton tells lies over and over again, changes her story (like the time she landed under sniper fire!), or dismisses lies she’s caught in as “not important”; like when she is personally responsible for the deaths of Americans and the wars and additional deaths that her carelessness led to over the years.
