Art you and others have tried to convince us that it is Dems R and Indes who are in the tea party – this poll and others show it is only R’s.

Mr. McInturff said the tea-party movement had not necessarily drawn new people into the GOP. Rather, he said, “a substantial chunk of the Republican Party is rebranding themselves.”

Although the majority in the Tea Party may be dissaffected republicans there are many independents in the tea party movement.
regardless of who they are their message of smaller government resonates with a majority of independents and a few Reagan republicans.

The reason that the Tea Party movement is so attractive to Republicans is because it represents the true ideals of the Republican Party, not the watered down nonsense espoused by RINOs like Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins. And the reason that the Tea Party movement attracts Independents and conservative Democrats is because the true, traditional Republican ideals is what made America great and what all freedom-loving, patriotic Americans see as being threatened by Obama, Pelosi, Holt, Pallone, Corzine and the rest of the far left socialist Democrats.
