It is our character that supports the promise of our future – far more than particular government programs or policies. – William Bennett

There were those of us, the values voters, who stood by stunned when the bar for personal conduct, vulgarity, sexual assault, law and American values was lowered by those who refused to remove Bill Clinton from office in 1998. We were told we were prudish, imposing religious values and should mind our own business by staying out of Clinton’s “private life.” That side won the culture war. My side lost the culture war. They may now reap what they have sown, and what they have sown is an acceptance of Donald Trump. This linguistic monster, whose polyglot range is a very limited dirty to deriding, was created by those who stood with Bill Clinton, who made the coarsening of American discourse official. They’ll never admit it. The left is married only to the moment with no view of history or legacy.

Hillary Clinton has opened a double digit lead over Donald Trump in a nationwide poll of likely voters released by Monmouth University today. Prior to the conventions, Clinton held a slim two point lead.
Both candidates remain unpopular, but the Democrat has a growing advantage on being seen as more temperamentally suited for the presidency. Still, Clinton’s email use remains a problem for her, while voters are divided on the impact of Trump’s attitude toward Russia. The poll also found that voters are less optimistic and enthusiastic about the 2016 election than they were one year ago.

If Donald Trump is elected President of the United States, his wife will not be the first first lady who posed for nude photographs.
Melania Trump’s censored nude photos adorn the pages of the New York Post today. Columnist Andrea Peyser posted, “This election has finally gotten European,” on facebook.
The Post said it exclusively obtained the photos from French photographer Alé de Basseville who shot them during a Manhattan photo shoot in 1995 when Melania was a professional model, Hillary Clinton was first lady and Monica Lewinsky was an intern.

Maggie Moran, the Managing Director of the Asbury Park based Democratic consulting firm Kivvit and the wife of Belmar Mayor “Lawless Matt” Doherty, announced on facebook yesterday that she has donated to the reelection campaign of Debbie Wasserman Schultz.
Wasserman Schultz is the Chair of the Democratic National Committee until Friday. She announced her resignation after DNC emails that proved she rigged Hillary Clinton’s Democrat nomination for president were released. She was then named Honorary Chair of Clinton’s campaign.
That’s perfectly consistent with the Monmouth County Democrats’ ethos that it is OK to cheat and the ends justifies the means.

In the Clinton universe a little email scandal should never be a career killer.
Debbie Wasserman Schultz will open and close the Democratic National Convention in Philadephia this week and then step down has Chair of the Democratic National Committee, ostensibly because of the leaked emails from the DNC proving that Clinton’s nomination was rigged by the committee and Bernie Sanders never had a chance.
It seems Wasserman Schultz’s apparent forced resignation is really just a transfer. Hillary Clinton announced this evening that Wasserman Schultz will become the Honorary Chair of the Democrat presidential campaign.

Brent Sonnek-Schmelz
U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced this afternoon that she is closing the Hillary Clinton email investigation based upon the recommendation of FBI Director James Comey. “Late this afternoon, I met with FBI Director James Comey and career prosecutors and agents who conducted the investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email system during her time as Secretary of State,” Lynch said in a statement released on the Justice Department website. “I received and accepted their unanimous recommendation that the thorough, year-long investigation be closed and that no charges be brought against any individuals within the scope of the investigation.”
Brent Sonnek-Schmelz, the business man running for Congress against 28 year incumbent Frank Pallone in the Monmouth/Middlesex 6th District, said that Clinton’s free pass is more than enough reason to clear out partisan political puppets, like Pallone, from both political parties.
