Mother Jones tapes have a “1-2 minute” gap
Maybe Rose Mary Woods’ grandson is the ultimate source
We know that former President Jimmy Carter’s grandson brokered the deal that provided the tax exempt non-profit news organization Mother Jones the secretly recorded video of Mitt Romney speaking to donors that the media has made such a fuss over for the last 48 hours.
Turns out there is a “one to two minute” gap in the tape. Maybe the grandson of former President Nixon’s secretary, Rose Mary Woods, was the shooter of the tapes. For those readers too young to remember Watergate, Woods admitted to “inadvertently” erasing 5 minutes of the 18 1/2 minute gap in the White House audio tapes that lead to Nixon’s resignation in disgrace.
Mother Jones insists that the gap is only 1-2 minutes, but we’ll never really know unless someone else comes forth with another video of the event.
The gap occured just at the end of Romney’s now famous “47%” remark that those who don’t pay taxes will not vote for him. When the recording resumes, Romney is talking about China. A transcript of the video before and after the gap can be found here.

But it’s important that this stuff gets around.
It’s bad enough that Obummbler doesn’t pay enough attention to intelligence that could have prevented the Embassy attacks, or allowed our Marines to be armed with real bullets so that they could readily fight back.

Reality is that Romney attacked Obama and said he was sypathizing with the terrorists before Obama even issued a statement on the demonstrations/embasy attack.

As for any part of that tape that is missing, it would probably be better for Romeny if it does not exist or they dont find it if it does. Its a large enough train wreck for Romeny as is with other R’s candidates even starting to throw Romney off the lifeboat.
Taking something out of context which has been done in Romeny ads and in numerous videos on the net, is when only a small excerpt of someones words are used that distorts the meaning of what they actually said. First Romeny ad of the campaign against Obama was a perfect example.
That YOU are making an “assie” of yourself with your own personal thoughts of what might be missing.
Strange that it cuts off after Mitt mentions 47% and then starts up at a totally different issue. My bet is that what is missing, mitigates Mitts remarks because of the TIMING of the cut off. That smells like editing.

The Nixon tragic farce was a government/administration cover-up. The time missing from Romney’s fund raising talk wasn’t an edit because it was never recorded, so it can’t be missing. There are no edits in what he said. By his own adminision he said it, otherwise he would not have held a press conference to try to spin what he said, what was recorded and what was released to the public. This isn’t the swift-boating that happened to Kerry; this is Mittens sticking-it to himself — or if you like committing swiftboaticide. Mittens makes ‘Who-Did-It-And-Ran’ look competent and polished.

Is the topic intelligence failures, or is it the failure to intelligently use the intelligence provided by professionals? If it is the latter then the Bush administration is guilty and it cost our country a lot of lives and a lot of money. If it is the former then Bush is guilty and so is Romney when it comes to failed intelligence as in the application of intellectual capacity.
