Well, it seems as if fall is now officially here! After a
hot summer season, these cooler temperatures are a nice relief! I hope everyone
is enjoying the season and picking the perfect pumpkins. I have been staying
busy and I would like to take some time to share what I have been up to around
Monmouth County.
Former Governor Chris Christie announced on twitter this morning that he has completed his treatment for COVID-19 at Morristown Medical Center and has gone home.
I am happy to let you know that this morning I was released from Morristown Medical Center. I want to thank the extraordinary doctors & nurses who cared for me for the last week. Thanks to my family & friends for their prayers. I will have more to say about all of this next week.
There have been over 6 million votes cast nationally in the general election so far, according to a report at TheHill.
Almost 4 million of those votes have been cast by voters unaffiliated with the Democrat or Republican Parties. 1.4 million ballots have been cast by Democrats and 653,000 by Republicans.
October 13 is the last day to register to vote in the November 3 election
Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon is reminding County residents that the deadline for new voters to register to vote is Tuesday, October 13, in order to vote in the November 3 general election.
New voters can register online by visiting the State’s voter registration portal, or in person at the County Superintendent/Registrar of Elections Office located at 300 Halls Mills Rd. in Freehold Township. This office will be open until 9 p.m. on the 13th to accommodate last minute registrants.
Atlantic Cinemas will reopen on Thursday, October 15, with a showing of Infidel, an inspired by true events political thriller starring Jim Caviezel.
