Pretraeus for Veep?
President Obama has been whispering that Mitt Romney wants CIA Director, General David Petraeus to be his running mate, according to Drudge.
The pick could be a shrewd Romney choice. A cross-party pull. The Obama administration hailed Petraeus as one of history’s greatest military strategists. Petraeus was unanimously confirmed as the Director of the CIA by the US Senate 94-0.
But Petraeus has categorically asserted that he has NO political ambitions. And Team Obama stands prepared to tie one of their own to “Bush wars.” A Petraeus pick could been seen as simply shuffling the decks of power in DC.

for that hype: if we haven’t learned by now that there is no longer enough respect for military experience, and not enough vets and families of vets as voters, to help carry us over the line to victory, when will we?..and, unfortunately,this year, the last thing we need is another “regular” white guy on the ticket, with the rich, white guy… unfortunately, this is the most racially-divisive pres. and administration ever, and it’s now all about class warfare, and rage against the white people, rather than freedom,taxes, regulations and jobs, for all..so, Rubio,another mixed-ethnicity person, or a woman may be a better sell..sad but true-it ought to be about their experience, smarts,values, and capabilities-it isn’t, any more..
