Obama Circle ‘Shaking with Laughter’ Over Hillary Rosen Distraction
By Ann Kane
Set em’ up, take em’ down. Did you ask yourself why Obama, Biden, Axelrod, and leftists of all stripes appeared to side with the pro-Ann Romney camp? Did it make you stop and think? Or did you buy into the distraction?
Crazy headlines like “Obama Throws Hilary Rosen Under the Bus” make you wonder why he would do that to someone who visited the White House 35 times since he became president. It’s because he isn’t really throwing her under the bus; he’s just saying he is.
Consider this excerpt from the poem “Child of Europe”:
Let your lie be even more logical than the truth itself
So the weary travelers may find repose in the lie. After the Day of the Lie gather in select circles
Shaking with laughter when our real deeds are mentioned.
Behind the distractions, the Left, socialists, communists, Marxists whatever you want to call them have been “pushing centralization and collectivism” (see AT’s editor Thomas Lifson’s blog post) of the government right under our noses through lies and propaganda.
Republicans wonder why Obama’s buddies keep getting to set the narrative. The answer’s obvious — the Republicans keep taking the bait.
Throwing out chum to the chattering classes is right out of the Democrat consultant and Mao admirer Anita Dunn’s strategy to sidetrack us from the destructive transformative policies this administration has put in place.
Dunn’s name keeps popping up. She visits the White House regularly, and her PR firm SKDKnickerbocker was behind Sandra Fluke’s media firestorm; now we find Hilary Rosen works at SKDK.
Let’s recap the last three months just to get a handle on team Obama’s modus operandi.
In January Obama media reporter George Stephanopolous throws out a line about whether birth control should be covered in Obamacare at the Republican debate. Three weeks later what has all the conservatives in a tizzy? Sandra Fluke and her ridiculous call for free birth control and how she was wronged by a congressional committee who wouldn’t hear her case.
Non-stop media coverage ensued, but while everyone was looking at this nonsense, the administration continued to toil away 24/7 on creating and implementing socialist policies.
Next comes Trayvon Martin. His death came on February 26, but the chum throwers didn’t place it in the news cycle until March 19. More non-stop media coverage; more underground workers making the overthrow of capitalism a goal within their reach.
Now that Trayvon’s case has calmed down after the George Zimmerman arrest, enter stage right, Hilary Rosen, leftist media pundit. She makes an incendiary statement about Ann Romney “never working a day in her life,” and all hell breaks loose.
Not only are conservatives attempting to compare the illogic of this woman’s words with past remarks by feminists, but leftists are talking like they’re so above the vitriol Rosen spewed.
As a result of the Rosen affair, we’re all focused on antiquated mommy wars which were settled 50 years ago; nobody thinks stay at home moms don’t work. But that doesn’t matter. All that matters is conservatives just keep swallowing the Left’s brain candy.
And the driven-to-distraction narrative goes on…and on. We don’t have to jump every time Obama and his minions try to play us like fiddles.
The Hannitys, Becks and Limbaughs don’t need to comment. Instead they should highlight the egregious policies being practiced in the health care industry right now. They need to hammer away about the bad economy; Obama’s Achilles Heel. They need to instruct us on how centralization and collectivism happens on the street level.
They should point out how education reform is being spearheaded by Obama operatives (Anita Dunn pops up here as well; SKDK represents StudentsFirst and a mayoral candidate in NYC whom StudentsFirst is also backing) in conjunction with Republican sympathizers.
Wouldn’t it be cool if the next time the Left entices us with some manufactured crisis, we just ignore it and continue on with exposing what’s really going on?

now also in favor of demonizing stay at home moms? Even money says yes.

I see that Brian has not taken his meds in quite some time.
LOL…I just re-read Brian’s posts…these are even funnier than the main article. Seems like he has some anger issues and that he’s giving into them….LOL…Go Obama!!
Thanks little Ricky, for showing everyone the difference between liberal tactics and conservative tactics. While Brian lays out irrefutable FACTS, you respond with a childish insult. Here’s some more facts for you little Ricky – Mitt Romney, even with a bruising primary not quite over, has quietly pulled ahead of our Muslim president. Joe Kyrillos has also pulled to within striking distance of the abysmal Menendez. And it is still very early. If Romney picks someone like Marco Rubio for his VP, Joe K, raises his name recognition and Christie’s numbers keep soaring, then all of the hate America, liberal media, Hollywood airheads and far left George Soroses won’t be able to steal this election. Want more? The same students who supported Hussein Obama last time can’t find jobs – no matter how much the White House lies about unemployment numbers and the economy. And Obama can’t hide the price of gas from the American people everytime they fill their tank. Remember his great quote “gas will have to necessarily spike to $10 a gallon?” I don’t think too many voters would agree with him. So keep laughing, little Ricky.
Reality Check…
That’s nothing new for Ricky. He co-authored the book on the politics of personal destruction.
So Brian, you actually think the stimulous increased unemployment???? First time I ever heard anyone say that. Most estimates are that it saved or created at least 2 million jobs on most likely kept the Bush Great Recession from turning into the Bush Depression.
Since you like to quote what gas prices were under W, note that they were higher in the Summer of 2008 than they are now. It took something you might have read about called The Great Recession to get them to the lower level of January 2009. Also make sure to look at all of the videos on youtube were Republicans and their friends on Fox News stated over and over again that the President can not control gas prices.
Note that while everyone realizes the deficit needs to be dealt with, the best plan to do just that (The Grand Compromise being put together by the President and the Speaker) was torpedoed by the radical Tea Party memers of the House who refused to support the Speakers efforts and any sort of compromise.
Just keeping it “Fair & Galanced.”
Bob English, please – you’re starting to sound like little Ricky lite. Now I know Michelle “I’ve never been proud of my country” Obama is sending you all those folksy e-mails about “joining” with her husband to help him finish destroying the US, but remember – this is all part of the Chicago style of politics. That is, lie, cheat, steal – anything to win. Remember when we were told unemployment would not go over 8% if we only spent a trillion dollars borrowed from China? Remember when Obama promised to close Gitmo? Remember when he promised transparency? And you call that scam a compromise? Thank God the TP backed members of Congress stood their ground. They were elected to stop Obama’s tax-happy socialist agenda and that’s what they did. Next up? The Supreme Court shoots down Obamacare. And btw, Brian is right on target as usual.
Bob, I do not mean to be mean; seriously. But when does the apologist act for Obama end?
Really, this guy has done everything possible (and yes with forethought) to destroy everything that we know in order to make people more dependent on government.
Nobody believes the unemployment numbers anymore; Obama and his own people believe in higher fuel prices; they are choking off the coal industry which will skyrocket electricity prices.
And production has stopped on the Chevy “save the world” Volt. You know the care that relied on coal fired plants to provide electricity to charge the stupid thing.
Add these few things to the others mentioned in Brian’s & Reality Check’s comments and you have one cluster frack of an administration.
Free: Why is it that when Brian mentions what gas prices were in January of 2009 that is an “irrufutable fact” but when I mention what they were 6 months prior and the reason why they fell (Great Recession) I am “an apologist for Obama”??? Check what the CBO report said about how many jobs were created or saved as the result of the stimulous and another “irrufutable fact” goes out the window.
I always thought it was a crazy statement for anyone to say that any President or their supporters would “believe” in high fuel prices. That could/would hurt the economy and also hurt any Presidents chances of reelection.
As for a “tax happy agenda”, taxes are actually lower under the Presidnet than they were under the previous administration.
First of all, the word Brian used earlier in referring to “Bob” was a digraceful way to refer to anyone. Maybe “Brian” should consider if anyone reading that might themselves have a handicapped member of their family. Another reason why I would like to see Art change the rules and have everyone post under their real name rather than hiding behind their keyboards.
Why is it when Brian states what gas prices were in January of 2009 that is an “irrefuttable fact” but when I point out what they were six months earlier in July of 2008 and the reason why they dropped (great Recession), that is “an apologist act for Obama”???
The CBO report also throws another “irrefuttable fact” about the stimulous not creating jobs out the window. People can debate whether the stimulous was a good idea or bad idea but you can’t have that debate if someone is going to make stuff up regarding its effects.
I never understood the crazy notion/thought that any President or their supporters would actually want higher gas prices since they are probably the biggest threat to this Presidents reelection chances especially if they inflict major harm on the economy. Its crazy talk to even imagine that.
As for the unemployment numbers, two years ago, nobody had any trouble believing them. Now when they are showing some modest improvement (still a long way to go to recover the 8 million jobs lost during the recession) all of a sudden they are phoney numbers???? If you have evidence of that, send it to the Romney campaign but if you don’t, those are the real numbers whether you like them or not.
Note: computer accidently posted at 9:12 which is why there is some duplication.
As for a “tax happy” agenda, taxes are lower under this President than they were under the previous administration. All the President wants to do is let tax cuts that were given to people making over $1 million/year expire (which they never should have received in the first place since they did not need them, they did nothing to create job growth and the country was becoming involved in two unpaid for wars at the time these cuts were being made.)
President Obama also believes exactly what Ronald Reagan was calling for in 1985 which was to make sure that people making a million dollars a year, are paying at least the same tax rate as the middle class. Never heard anyone calling that Reagans tax happy agenda….the same Ronald Reagan who by the way raised taxes to try to deal with the rising deficit.
When libs are left lying naked on the side of the road with a big stick in their butt—“it’s Bush’s fault”‘ ‘Brian’s crazy”—but NEVER discuss actual facts. Gas hit $145bbl–Bush lifted the drilling moratorium in the Gulf—within three weeks oil was $35 bbl—those are the actual facts–and those premits are what allow Milhous to claim “We are increasing production” while drilling on Federal land is DOWN 19%
But lil ricky and baby bob will have to attack me for pointing out their emporer has no clothes which is why l refuse to accept the false premise that Libturds are rational human beings—it’s a false premise. At least when my dog is confused and licks his balls–he’s a dog–what’s your excuse???
Facts are things the libs twist, such as with the Obama administrations attempts to make us think the unemployment rate is going down..
Bob, the employment numbers are phony because the Obama administration keeps moving the goal posts by shrinking the field, that is the number of people in the work force.

About your comment:
“I always thought it was a crazy statement for anyone to say that any President or their supporters would “believe” in high fuel prices”
YOU may think it was a crazy statement for anyone to say that these people would believe in higher fuel prices…
BUT, the problem is that THEY HAVE SAID it, both Obama and Energy Secretary Chu. You seem to keep hiding from those little things called facts.
Another “actual fact” that is not so acutual. In 2008, the world market price of crude oil dropped over a six month period (not 30 days) at the Great Recession took hold and demand dropped. There are numerous charts on line that show the monthly cost of oil. Link is to one below.
http://www.indexmundi.com/commodities/?commodity=crude-oil&months=60
I am all for drilling if it can be done safely. What was the cost to the US economy though of the Deepwater Horizon disaster?? Jobs, businesses gone forever. Any idea what that kind of spill off the Atlantic Coastline would do to the economy?? I don’t want to find out!!
Even if US production increased say by another 10% (which would be a huge increse), that is a drop in the bucket for the amount of oil that is traded daily on the world market which is where the price of oil is determined. The fact is that current US production is up, demand is down, exports of gasoline and fuel oil are up and the prices are of gasoline is still skyrocking if nothing else shows that some increase in US production is not going to make that much of a difference on the world market price especially as 3rd world demand is going to keep increasing in years to come. Note that there are studies and reports online stating just that (that higher US production at best would have just a little bit of impact on gasoline prices.) And if there is a war in the Gulf, its over. I bet the price of gasoline would double in a week.
You are for drilling. But spills are rare ESPECIALLY on land where we have oil sands in Canada we can’t access because of the Keystone prohibition. as well as limits on producing oil from shale which is a HUGE amount of our capacity.
Proven reserves will tide us over at least 200 years until solar and other things become cost efficient.
Obama is ok with drilling as long as it’s ELSEWHERE, producing jobs ELSEWHERE and DECREASING our national security.
But, will you finally admit that members of the Obama administration actually are for higher fuel prices, that they would necessarily have to be at, ect?
Lets agree to disgree on that one. Higher fuel prices=the greater liklihood that they will be out of work the day after elction day so it really does not make sense.
I am now pounding my head against the wall.
Like anyone caught in a corner Bob, you refuse to acknowledge that the Obama Administration is in favor of higher fuel prices and members of the administration have said so. Even Obama has said prices would have to be necessarily higher.
THAT’S what doesn’t make sense Bob, that you can’t accept the truth.
My Gawd, my head hurts from trying to explain that.
Lol give me a break. Post your evidence that this Adminsitration “is in favor of higher fuel prices”….and that does not include the President commenting on or giving a reason for the high price right now.
Not talking points, not something from Hannity or Rush, but something from a mainstream media source of your choosing.
For God’s sake B.E. this is straight from our Muslim president’s own lips – “gas will have to necessarily spike to $10 per gallon.” His energy czar also stated that he would like to see European-style gas prices here. Stop being so obstinate and come to grips with the fact that your messiah is a far left socialist who is intent on furthering Al Gore’s bottom line with his radical energy agenda.
Sorry…not good enough. Those are your words. POST A LINK that shows every0ne why you believe the President is in favor of high gas prices (even though it could cost him reelection) and if he actually said what you are saying he said in quotes, post a link that shows the entire quote from any mainstream newspaper or magazine.
D-nile–a river that runs through bush’s fault bob’s house………….
Why do we have to do your homework for you?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BqHL404zhcU
http://dailycaller.com/2012/03/13/high-energy-prices-are-an-obama-administration-goal/
“(Now Energy Secretary) Steven Chu told The New York Times, “Somehow, we have to figure out how to boost the price of gasoline to the levels in Europe.” His goal was to increase the cost slowly, over the course of 15 years. Parity with the Europeans would have Americans paying between $8 and $10 a gallon.”
1) In your first link, in January of 2008 the Presidnet is basically saying the energy company’s could/would pass along the cost of being forced to reducing the amount of pollution they are causing. Does that shock you? The fact that the Presidnet wants clean air for our kids and grandkids certainly does not mean the President wants higher gas prices.
2) Using the Daily Caller to make a point is like me using an editorial in the Huffigton Post to make a point. The link to the story you posted is an opinion piece and not a news article. Since you posted it though, here is what I will say:
Just because the President has more concerns regarding the enviroment than you might like, that does not mean he wants higher gas prices which is the original claim. I for one like the idea of tougher regulation on the poisonous greenhouses gases that the coal plants put into the atmosphere. Just because I am in favor of clean air though does not mean I want higher gasoline prices. Same thing for deepwater drilling. Do it, but do it safer than they were doing it and if that means they have to go a little bit slow at first so be it. And if it cost more to prevent another disaster, thats the way it has to be. That does not mean I want higher gasoline prices, its just means I don’t want the beaches on the East Coast or in the Gulf to be covered in oil for six months in a repeat of one of the worst natural disasters in history. So there are some areas that in my opinion should be off limits. That does not mean I want higher gas prices!!
The Keystone Pipeline will be built, however note that even people who are for it (Bill Clinton for one) will admit that the original route had the potential to cause damage to a major water supply and there are more suitable places to build part of it.
If somehow all of this makes you think that the President wants higher gas prices, I am not going to change your mind and you are not going to change my mind.
Without sounding like a broken record, even a big increase in US output just would not have enough impact on the daily global market to make much of a dent in the price….and believe me I wish it would. World demand is going to be growing even more in the years to come. If the US can drill a little bit more and continue to increase output, that is fine by me. But if you want to end the US reliance on foreign oil, the Presidents ideas regarding reducing consuption and continuing to develop alternative environmentally friendly sources is the only long range solution.
Bob, just how many ways can you apologize for Obama and avoid the issue that his OWN energy secretary said he would like to see gas prices rise to $8-10 dollars and that Obama said “electricity prices would have to necessarily double.”
I think we have beaten this to death. Still have seen nothing that would back up the earlier statement that the President wants higher gas prices. Still would like to see a link to the the quote you keep mentioning “electricity prices would have to necessarily double” (and I dont mean in an opinion piece in the Daily Call.)
What the President said in the January 2008 clip that was posted was clearly refering to the fact that energy company’s could/would pass along the cost of reducing the poisonouse greenhouses gases they are emitting….not exactly news and certainly does not mean that the Presidnet is in favor of higher fuel costs.
All the political bs asside, the really important issue at hand on which hopefully we can all agree is how to get the US off its dependency on foreign oil. Can we drill a little bit more??? Probably. Will that affect the world market price??? Very little. Unless the US uses less oil and developes alternatives, is the US still dependent on foreign oil???? Yes
