Obama Loses 37,000 Twitter Followers

President Obama took to Twitter yesterday, spamming his 9.4 million followers, asking that they tweet their Republican congressmen to support a compromise debt ceiling bill.

37,000 unfollowed him as of 7:30 last evening, according to Mashable.com.

The Republican congressman he targeted picked up approximately 6,000 followers.

    These were probably republican plants anyway. Just wanting to see what he was tweeting about so they can blast him in real time. No great loss. Losing republicans is never a great loss.

    Pro-life Democrats and some pro-life Republicans as well are looking for the Obama administration to offer reassurances with regard to conscience clauses protecting health care workers who conscientiously oppose abortion and some signs that it is prepared to take seriously the goal of making abortion rare as well as safe and legal.
