Superior Court Judge Joseph W. Oxley was affirmed for tenure by a 40-0 vote by the New Jersey State Senate on Monday afternoon.
Nominated by Governor Chris Christie for a seven year term in 2012, Judge Oxley was renominated by Governor Phil Murphy last month.
“These past seven years have been the greatest years of my life, both personally and professionally,” Oxley told the Senate Judiciary Committee during his confirmation hearing last week, according to New Jersey Law Journal.

Bill Robinson, the Democrat volunteer operative and sign guy who former congressional candidate Tiffany Kaszuba accused of “concerning” and “unhealthy” behavior has resigned from the New Jersey Democratic State Committee, according to one of the Monmouth County Democrats who is allowed to talk to MMM.
Monmouth Democrat Chairman Dave Brown (not allowed to talk to MMM) called for Robinson’s resignation from the State Committee and banned him from Party activities after he and Senator Vin Gopal (allowed to talk to whoever he wants) were widely criticized on how they initially handled Kaszuba’s concerns.

Monmouth County Sheriff Shaun Golden responded to NJ Attorney General Gurbir Grewal’s directive issued this afternoon which directs corrections officers at the Monmouth County Jail not to cooperate with ICE with a pledge to fight the directive legally and to keep Monmouth County residents safe.
“We shall continue to pursue legal remedies to this directive, which deprives Monmouth County of the ability to identify individuals who have committed crimes and are here illegally,” Sheriff Golden said in a statement.

Senator Declan O’Scanlon said that $54 million of new subsidies announced by Governor Phil Murphy to cover the rising cost of childcare due to an increased minimum wage highlights the pain caused by government mandated wage policies to both families and taxpayers.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – raising the minimum wage sounds lovely in theory but stings in reality,” O’Scanlon (R-Monmouth) said. “While this $54 million childcare subsidy may seem great for a few qualifying families that are struggling to afford childcare, there are many other low- and middle-income families that won’t get a penny of help as their cost of living rises as a direct result of Governor Murphy’s minimum wage increases. The simple fact is that most New Jersey families will be stuck shelling out more of their hard-earned money for a variety of services, including childcare, which have become less affordable as costs have been driven higher by expensive government mandates.”

Hello Governor! I noticed your latest bout of uncontrollable virtue signaling (you should see someone about that). You have removed the state flag of Mississippi from New Jersey’s display of all 50 49 state flags at Liberty State Park. You are predictably triggered because Mississippi’s flag bears the Second Confederate Navy Jack in the upper flagstaff canton.
So, you oppose secession of the southern states? Virtue signal received, Governor. I suspect we all knew that without rekindling the civil war or vacating amnesty given to southern soldiers.
