Guadagno launches gubernatorial campaign

Lt Governor Kim Guadagno will kick off her campaign for the GOP nomination for Governor on Tuesday morning, 11 a.m. in Keansburg, at LaPlaya, 2 Beachway Ave.

The Guadagno campaign released a video on youtube and facebook on Monday evening in anticipation of the launch.

New hope for a Republican Majority in New Jersey

Christie says he will complete his term

Governor Chris Christie says he’s not joining the Trump Administration any time soon.

According to a report on Observer-PolitickerNJ,  Christie told the closing luncheon of the annual New Jersey League of Municipalities Convention, that he intend to serve his full term.

“I have every intention of serving out my full term as governor. I have said that from the beginning,” Christie said. “I hope that you notice the words that he used on election night. They were his and he chose them carefully. He wants to unite this country and bring people together,” he added of Trump.

“I’m not worried and I’m not nearly as preoccupied as the people who cover me and some of the people who are attempting to follow me about where exactly this will go,” he said.

Christie and Guadagno Split Over Ballot Question 2

Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno is speaking her own mind and getting establishing independence from Governor Chris Christie.

Guadagno went onto Bill Spadea’s morning radio show at NJ 101.5 and agreed with Spadea that voters should reject ballot question 2, the provision that would dedicate the new gas tax revenues to transportation projects.  Spadea and Guadagno are arguing that the dedication of the revenue will allow Trenton to borrow billions  of dollars to fund the projects.

Republican Assembly Members Should Vote Against Gas Tax Hike

Dave Rible, Rob Clifton, Sean Kean, Monmouth Republican Assembly Members who voted for gas tax in June, and Declan O’Scanlon who didn’t vote, should join Amy Handlin and Ronald Dancer, Republicans who represent parts of Monmouth and voted NO in June, in voting NO on Wednesday or whenever the bill that Governor Christie, Senate President Sweeney and Assembly Speaker Vincent Prieto agreed to on Friday comes up for a vote.
