Jack Ciattarelli, the presumptive Republican nominee for Governor of New Jersey, today called upon the State Legislature to empanel an independent commission to investigate into the thousands of deaths in NJ nursing homes and long term care facilities that resulted from Governor Phil Murphy’s mandate that those facilities admit COVID-19 positive patients.
Ciattarelli suggested the commission be modeled after the 9/11 Commission which was chaired by former Governor Tom Kean.
Senator Declan O’Scanlon, Jr has endorsed Jack Ciattarelli for Governor of New Jersey:
“We all know how distressingly rare it is to have exactly the right candidate come along at exactly the right moment….someone with an in-depth grasp of the days most critical issues and the intellectual heft to offer real, workable solutions. Helps too if the candidate has a sense of humor, doesn’t condescendingly presume he knows everything & genuinely holds deep family & community values.
Jack Ciattarelli, the presumptive Republican nominee for governor of New Jersey, will be the guest speaker at the February 5 meeting of the Atlantic Highlands Republicans.
Federal dollars flow from legislation he supported
WASHINGTON, DC – Rep. Chris Smith (R-NJ) applauded this week’s announcement that the federal government is sending $216,000,000 to New Jersey to reimburse the state for vaccination efforts against COVID-19.
“I greatly welcome this important federal reimbursement to assist New Jersey’s six mega sites in the distribution of vaccines,” said Congressman Smith.

I hope
everyone is having a great start to the New Year.
Amid the
increasingly cold temperatures and chance of snowfall, I want to ensure
everyone that our Department of Public Works and Engineering employees are
prepared for any potential storms that may be heading our way. We have the best
crews around who all have the same goal in mind – to keep our residents safe
during any inclement weather. Our number one priority always has been and
always will be safety
Goals are endpoints. Missions are plans/strategies to achieve goals. Our “goal”, and it’s one we should shoot for, is to get 70% of the adult NJ population vaccinated by the end of June. We need to understand the mission we’ll need to accomplish to achieve our goal.
President Donald Trump granted a full pardon to George Gilmore, former Ocean County Republican Chairman, shortly before midnight on Tuesday. The President issued 73 pardons and commuted 70 sentences in one of his final acts in office.
Let me explain how political endorsements usually work. Someone’s press secretary gets together with someone else’s press secretary and they come up with some very politically correct quotes that they put into a polished release and distribute out with a nice logo on it. This is definitely not that.
Republicans across the country, and especially in New Jersey are at a major crossroads. One section of the party calls everyone who hasn’t sworn an unwavering blood oath to our outgoing President a “RINO” and another section of the party wants to pretend that President Trump and his supporters never existed, nor the underlying reasons for why he was elected in the first place. It’s self-defeating insanity.
