The murder of “Liberty and Justice for All” is happening at this very moment in the last country left on earth where people run to find freedom. Three more nails were driven into the coffin of our 1st Amendment Rights in the last few weeks. Many unprecedented attacks have occurred over the past decade but in recent weeks some of the most blatant and heinous acts against our Constitution and our Free Society, have been thrust upon us. Unfortunately, as “sheep to the slaughter”, too many Americans are watching with No reaction.
While I could say the last few weeks have been very busy, the truth of the matter is that the County stays busy around the year with ongoing projects and initiatives.
Earlier this month, I had the honor of joining Middletown
Mayor Tony Perry and the Middletown Committee, as well as, Congressman Chris
Smith at a press conference hosted by Middletown to launch their Economic
Relief Program to assist their small businesses impacted by COVID-19.
Marlboro Mayor Jonathan Hornik blasted JCP&L’s recovery response to Tropical Storm Isaias and the utility’s horrendous communications with the public and local government officials in testimony delivered to the NJ Senate Law and Public Safety Committee on Monday.
Maggie Moran and Matt Doherty announced on facebook this afternoon that Maggie is gay and that they are divorcing.
Moran was former Governor Jon Corzine’s Deputy Chief of Staff and is prominent Democrat strategist. Doherty is the Executive Director of the Casino Reinvestment Development Authority and a former Belmar mayor.
During a candidates forum hosted by NJGlobe prior to the July 7 Democrat primary, Stephanie Schmid revealed that she has pre-existing conditions.
Schmid, the unemployed lawyer who lives in a multi-generational household and is running against Congressman Chris Smith, has exhibited signs of Pseudologia Fantastica throughout her campaign. Her condition was on full display yesterday in her interactions with the New Jersey Globe.
Note: In keeping with Coronavirus concerns,
all attendees should practice social distancing and wear facemasks. And confirm
if the event is being held before going.
