Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon announced today that date of the September Special School Board elections originally scheduled for September 25 has been changed to October 2.

			 The former Kenilworth schools superintendent on trial in Holmdel Municipal Court for serial pooping on the Township’s high school track will collect $100,000 from taxpayers of Kenilworth, according to multiple published reports.
The former Kenilworth schools superintendent on trial in Holmdel Municipal Court for serial pooping on the Township’s high school track will collect $100,000 from taxpayers of Kenilworth, according to multiple published reports.
Under the terms of his separation agreement with the Kenilworth Board of Education, Thomas Tramaglini, 42, will receive his full pay from the until his resignation becomes effective at the end of September. He will receive two months severance pay and $20,000 for unused vacation days.  The school district will not oppose his application for unemployment benefits.

			 Aaron Davis, the Long Branch man charged with leaving River, a pit bull mix, caged on the banks of the Shrewsbury River in Highlands last month, will remain in the custody of the Monmouth County Correctional Institution pending his trail, according to a social media post by the Prosecutor’s Office.

Congressman Steny Hoyer, the #2 Democrat in the House of Representatives behind Nancy Pelosi, will be in New York City on Thursday to raise campaign cash for Josh Welle, the Democrat running against Congressman Chris Smith in the 4th congressional district of New Jersey, according to an invitation to the fundraiser obtained by MMM.
Hoyer entered the House in 1981, the same year as Smith.

Freeholder Director Tom Arnone Meeting
The East End Ave Bridge which connects Neptune City with the Shark River Hills section of Neptune Township will be closed next Weds., August 15 from 7 a.m. till 5 p.m. while faulty pavement is repaired.
The bridge was closed for 8 months, October 2017 through May of this year, for a $3.5 million refurbishment project.

Aaron D. Davis, 36, of Long Branch, the man charged with the leaving a dog, now named River, to drown in a cage on the banks of the Shrewsbury River in Highlands, surrendered to law enforcement authorities this morning, according to an announcement by Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher Gramiccioni.
Davis was charged last Friday with third degree Animal Cruelty – Attempting to Cause Death or Serious Bodily Injury to an Animal and disorderly persons offenses of Abandonment of a Domestic Animal, Failure to Provide Necessary Care and Failure to Provide Proper Shelter.

William McMahon, 64 of Keansburg, was arrested by investigators of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office and the Department Homeland Security on Friday, August 3 and charged with one count each of second degree Attempted Sexual Assault, second degree Luring or Enticing Child, third degree Attempted Endangering the Welfare of a Child, according to an announcement by Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
McMahon’s  arrest was the result of an undercover investigation conducted by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit and Monmouth County Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force that commenced in late July. An undercover detective, posing as a 14-year old boy, responded to an-online posting by McMahon seeking to have a “sleep over” with the child.  During the course of further on-line discussions, McMahon made clear his interest in having sex with the juvenile.

Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon announced today that the drawing for ballot positions in the November general election will be held on Monmouth August 13 at 3:00 p.m.
The drawing, which by New Jersey law is to occur 85 days before the election, will be conducted by Deputy Clerk Judith Ricci at the Monmouth County Clerk of Elections Office located at 300 Halls Mill Road in Freehold.
