    So in other words, his neighbors testified that they were afraid of him because they saw him engaging in perfectly lawful activity on his own property?

    Note: it is not illegal to carry a gun on your own property.

    I’m perplexed ….. “having a loaded firearm within 450 feet of an occupied building”…excuse my naivete but what law is that? In NJ your allowed to carry a loaded firearm on your person in, around your home (on your property) or place of business you own.
