And isn’t there a little bit of a conflict when the AG’s office is advising both DHS and FMERA that an MOU would suffice and not a formal lease which would have had to have been voted on at an open public meeting? Would have been in the best interest of the public for FMERA to have been able to retain a non conflicted outside counsel rather than have the AG’s office essentially representing two parties and magically coming up with the outcome that the state wanted in the first place which would have kept everything secret from the public if word had not leaked out.
