[Monmouth Tea Party Coalition Endorses Anna Little in CD-6
By Frank Cotton
Last election Anna Little proved to be someone that would represent the people and
not party politics. She has endured hostile treatment by former supporters that appear
to be “party centered” and not concerned with the decay and downward direction of
our country.]
By Kelly Ann Hart, Chief Executive Officer, Cullari for Congress
It’s unfortunate that Anna Little and her current supporters do not see what’s actually going on. More importantly, it’s unfortunate I need to respond to these accusations but the urgency of facts is necessary.
Anna Little declared her candidacy for Congress in November 2010 during her concession speech. Along with her speech she informed the public of her foundation and PAC’s for her re-election campaign. Then in early 2012 Anna declared her run for U.S. Senate, to run against Robert Menendez… her failure to acquire the 1000 signatures (throughout the state) on her petitions led her to announce her run, once again, for Congress in District 6. Her announcement came days after Ernesto Cullari declared his candidacy.
This inconsistent behavior from Anna Little is what drove her professional team away from her. There is no personal vendetta against her; although, Anna will claim different as she has done numerous times in the past. I take strong offense to anyone making false claims against me or our team that we would for one second not be concerned with the direction of our country. Frank Cotton, who ran himself on a few occasions as an independent and also claims to be conservative, should at the very least call those people he is making ridiculous claims against and convey the facts.
Those who fought for Anna – the candidate who refused to make fund-raising calls, showed up late to every event, flip flopped on her issues and carelessly allowed Frank Pallone to attack her without a response; has failed as a Congressional and Senate candidate and she failed as a Freeholder and Mayor of her own town… the town in which she lost in the general election to Frank Pallone.
While Anna was deciding what office she could “win”, her former team was more interested in regaining conservative values with serious, dedicated and strong candidates in our country. We approached Ernesto Cullari because of his dedication to his country; his invaluable service to charity; his successful small business ownership and his willingness to honor and defend the Constitution of the United Stateswith no regard to his personal gain.
So, before we start throwing around attacks – let’s remember to focus on accountability, unity as well as transparency that we are suffering to gain back in this country. It’s sad that Mr. Cotton did not give his group the opportunity to meet Ernesto and decide for themselves before they made an endorsement. It’s too bad Anna has not allowed her true colors to be seen by her endorsees and/or supporters. She has a reputation of “flying off the handle”, siding with Democrats and having absolutely no loyalty to the principles of the party she so arrogantly deems her own. “Facts are stubborn things.” ~ Ronald Reagan. Indeed they are, sir.
Without a doubt, Anna Little is the most self-centered self -serving candidate that has ever politicked in Monmouth County. One day she may finally set her sights on a goal that is achievable, but I somehow doubt it. She failed in all endeavors (as mentioned in the article) she has attempted, as she fails in her Immigration Practice. Ernesto has my vote, simply because he stands for one thing, and not every whim that is put before him.
Kelly, I read the statement above by Frank, I do not see an attack on you, he didn’t even mention you. However, in your post you have attacked Anna. No one faults you for choosing to work for another candidate, you are a professional & that’s what you do. Your team did a great job for the folks in Old Bridge.
Please remember Kelly, a lot of Anna’s supporters, including Frank, were with her before you came on board. We worked very hard & she did win the primary.
As a former resident of Highlands, I have no idea why Anna is running for any office. She raised taxes, increased fines and was one of the worst mayor’s ever. Why do you think she did not win in Highlands during the general election? Maybe you should get wise Helene and support someone else.
Helene
Even though Frank did not directly mention her he did say “former supporters” and Ms. Hart is one of them.
“Slingin’ it” will not make it so! There are NO secrets in this world today. Truth will prevail and Monmouth County Natives will remain steadfast with ‘countrymen’ principles behind the prolific history of our County. Very easy to see through professional money talk.
to The Overseer,
Working for Anna’s campaign was a job for Kelly. She workd very hard as I am sure she will for her current candidate.
[…] for the GOP congressional nomination in the 6th district of New Jersey followed this mornings rebuke of Monmouth County Tea Party Coalition leader Frank Cotton with an attack on former Highlands Mayor […]
I worked with kelly on anna’s campaign, she did work hard and she did get PAID. Even when she messed things up, anna still paid her. Even when anna asked her to do something, and she said to me “i know better” and did what she wanted, anna still paid her. Even when she had personal issues and had to work from up north and was mia for several weeks, anna paid her. Frankly I would have fired her, but anna had compassion in her heart and took care of kelly… because that is who anna is. Lets be clear, Kelly is a gun for hire, not a tea partier. Kelly is a hard core GOPer.
@Now the real truth
LoL I don’t now what world you were in.
The Tea Party Movement has already won the 6th CD GOP primary. Whether Anna or Ernesto, conservative values will move forward. I understand Anna and after hearing Ernesto a few times I understand him. What I don’t understand is the GOP machine endorsement of Ernesto, a newcomer, a newcomer unable to fund his own campaign, the usual “mark” of a GOP machine candidate, self funding. I don’t know what the GOP is thinking. I do know that on 5/23 7 PM the Jersey Shore Tea Party invites both candidates to their monthly meeting to speak directly to the public. Any and all are invited to attend.

Jersey Shore TP, Have you looked at Little’s reports? She does not have any money which is ironic because she took all of the money from the residents of the Highlands. I know she took mine.
Talk about party insider.. word is, Little took a back room deal from Sam Thompson. Do you think she hangs around him just because she likes his glasses? She is a narcissistic woman who will sing patriotic songs anytime someone throws her a dollar. Take away her stage and she is nothing. Everyone who follows her is just her audience. She will forget their names once she takes a bow and the curtain closes.
All I have to say is I wish it was “THE END” of her political career.
Sounds like a constipated pup who hates successful women and doesn’t know right from wrong. Pitiful….!
For the last 4 months of her last campaign Anna refused to communicate with anyone in her campaign. All communications had to be through a college student who was acting as her personal assistant. She replaced who was running her campaign at least 4 times and sometimes never bothered to tell the person she was replacing. She finally found a yes man in Larry the Lawyer who needed a place to live. She was emotional to the point of instability and would not listen to anyone in her campaign. Kelly is not the only person not working for Anna this time around who supported her last time. Ask yourself where are Cody, Bellew, Laffey, Barry, Carrol, Vaccaro just to name a few. Kelly deserved every penny she got paid and if Anna had listened to Kelly and the rest of her team the outcome of the last election might have been different. Anna can be very charismatic but unfortunatly once you get past that it is a hot mess.
@Now the real real truth???
Should be “Sour Grapes”
Hmm ….
First anna has been active with the conservative movement for the past two years, she didn’t give up and she didn’t stop, even after loosing. She helped with numerous campaigns last year around the state.
I also was a volunteer in the campaign office, Anna gave russ the latitude to do what he wanted. Anna wanted the focus to be in middlesex, russ and kelly insisted on monmouth…. Anna did not point any fingers at anyone for the failure. We all moved the line closer to victory, we should all feel great in what we accomplished. Anna is a great leader, she inspired me to get out and try to win.
Anna will win the primary and with our help she will dethrone frank pallone!!
@john McClott – so back room deal means the party asks you to run for a seat… hmmm… I guess Ernesto had a back room deal with freeholder burry. One the highlands issue…How does a flat budget for 3 years take away all your money?? Perhaps you should have volunteer to be on the citizen budget review committee that she created. Stop blowing smoke or quit smoking.
Looks like Anna’s syncophants are publik skewl grads based on their command of the English langwedge………..
I can say that Anna has been a conservative on key issues since her becoming a Freeholder back when. She has also been an independent voice speaking about conservative issues considered most important by many of us in the Tea Party at the national level.
Her independence has not always been received well by the “powers that be” or by the establishment in general however, this is in many eyes a plus. Our interest primarily is getting the message out in an independent manner. In many respects, the message that she again brings is more important than perhaps the outcome of the election itself.
It is somewhat amusing to see so many posts attacking her again because there has been so much mudslinging over the years, ever since her Freeholder days (and the days leading up to her stint in that position) that many are “ho hum” about it. Much of what I am seeing seems to be just more warmed over “stuff” if you know what I mean.
I also believe that if you look at the full picture regarding issues surrounding her negotiations in Highlands with the union(s), that you will find that there is much more there than meets the eye. Unfortunately, telling 1/2 of the story is not much different from lying and it seems that the negative posts regarding that aspect seem to be only the partial story.
It is also amazing to see just how Monmouth county Republican politics have changed so little (pardon the pun) regarding the selection of candidates. As for this election, I still say that Anna has a viable track record (like it or not) from being a Mayor, a council person and Freeholder. In addition, her experience running against Pallone two years ago (even though there are many who would like to discount that experience) must also be considered a strong plus for unseating Pallone.
Lastly, from the Tea Party perspective, her conservative credentials, historical track record and background is the reason that she has garnered the support of a number of these local organizations, all with the same criteria. Those my friends are the facts and the reason that many of the local Tea Parties are supporting her.
As a sidebar, many of us have met and listened to Mr. Cullari and genuinely like the potential that that he represents. However, it is always a plus if a candidate was able to present a solid track record of past campaigns and/or offices held, this helps with the vetting process. Having that background is fairly important in the process used by some of the Tea Parties. If there is no solid candidate (track record, etc.) then the criteria centers on the proposed platform planks and the way questions are fielded by the potential candidate. Again, generally speaking, we like candidates that have demonstrated solid “conservative” credentials and voting records. Sans that, if we are to endorse or support a candidate, they present their platform and answer hard question posed by the group. This is how we decided to support Anna, Bader and Larsen. By following this regimen in the future, I am sure that Mr. Cullari will garner the type support from the Tea Parties that is needed for a run for office. For what its worth!
