Murphy’s Tavern and Val’s Tavern in Rumson are likely to have a better night on Thursday than Tommy’s Tavern and Tap Room and Woody’s Grille in Sea Bright due to the fact that the Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge (S-32) will close for maintenance at 8 p.m. The bridge will reopen at 6 a.m. on Friday morning.

Make a right on Navesink and another right on Route 36 in Highlands. Take Route 36 over the Capt Joe Azzolina Bridge and you’re in Sea Bright. McCloone’s and Tommy’s will be down the road on your right.
