Trenton, NJ – Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno today applauded the Air Force’s decision to begin basing new KC-46A Pegasus air-refueling tankers at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst in the 2021 fiscal year. This decision will accelerate an infusion of military construction at the Joint Base and prioritizes Joint Base receipt of the aircraft at a time when the Administration is requesting a new base closure round in 2021.
“The Air Force decision is good news for the State of New Jersey and for our national security,” said Lt. Governor Guadagno. “It is a tribute to the outstanding Air Force and Air National Guard airmen and the important missions they perform.”

West Long Branch, NJ- Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno pledged to the people of New Jersey that she would not seek re-election in four years if she does not keep her promise to reduce the state’s highest in the nation property taxes.

The United States Air Force has selected Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JBMDL) to be the first military installation to to sequence its new KC-46A refueling jets, according to an announcement by Congressman Chris Smith (NJ-4)
The KC-46A is the first phase of a 3-phase effort to replace the U.S. Air Force’s aging tanker fleet. With more refueling capacity and enhanced capabilities, improved efficiency and increased capabilities for cargo and aeromedical evacuation, the KC-46A will provide aerial refueling support to the Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps as well as allied nation coalition force aircraft, according to the Air Force.
This is a big win for New Jersey jobs, Smith said.

Most of the attention has been on the gubernatorial race in today’s Primary election. But there is a race for the GOP nominations for Monmouth County Freeholder that could impact the quality of life for local residents more than the governor’s race.
Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Holmdel Deputy Mayor Pat Impreveduto are being challenged by a couple of Ciattarelli sycophants that we haven’t heard from since MMM reported their petition fraud to get on the ballot.
No one expects Lillian and Pat to have a problem securing the nomination. That’s the danger. In an expected low turnout election, shocking surprises have been know to happen. In Highlands, our popular Mayor Rick O’Neil once lost primary to a complete unknown because too many of Rick’s supporters figured he had it in the bag and didn’t bother voting.
Vote today. If you’re a Republican or Unaffiliated voter in Monmouth County, vote for Lillian G. Burry and Patrick Impreveduto for Freeholder.

I’m voting for Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno in the Republican Primary tomorrow because I’m convinced she’s the only candidate in the field who can defeat former Goldman Sachs banker Phil Murphy, the likely Democrat nominee, in November and prevent the return of unbridled government spending and taxation that will occur if Democrats regain control of the State Executive branch.
Guadagno’s primary campaign has been brilliant in its simplicity. She has deftly managed to put distance between herself and Governor Chris Christie while keeping her eye on the prize….winning the gubernatorial nomination. Kim has demonstrated that she knows that she is out to win an election, not to sell investors on a business plan. She’s presented herself as likeable, relatable and wanting to make New Jersey “Better.” Her appeal is emotional, not cerebral.
The most likeable candidate is going to win in November. Read the rest of this entry »

TRENTON — For more than a year, Phil Murphy has campaigned to become New Jersey’s next governor, spending more than $16 million of a vast personal fortune made from over 21 years at Wall Street juggernaut Goldman Sachs. Along the way, he carefully has maneuvered around two potential Goldman thorns: Comparisons to former Gov. Jon Corzine,… Read the rest of this entry »
