Long Branch Man Pleads Guilty To Federal Kiddie Porn Charges

Donald Haring, 61, of Long Branch, pleaded guilty to federal charges of possession and distribution of child pornography today, before U.S. District Judge Freda L. Wolfson in Trenton, according to a statement by U.S. Attorney Paul Fishman.

Haring admitted that he knowingly used a computer from his home to share images and videos of child sexual abuse with other members of a publicly-available, peer-to-peer file-sharing network. Haring also admitted to possessing at least three videos and 600 images of child sexual abuse on his computer and other electronic devices.

Haring faces a maximum potential penalty of 20 years in prison, a minimum penalty of five years in prison, a fine of $250,000, and up to a lifetime of supervised release. Sentencing is scheduled for Oct. 7, 2016.

Matawan Man Faces Federal Kiddie Porn Charges

Matthew Kaminsky, 49, of 9 Homestead Dr. in Matawan, was arrested by federal authorities today and charged with soliciting an underage girl to produce images of herself engaged in sexually explicit conduct and send the images to him through an online instant messaging application, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

According to the federal complaint, Kaminsky engaged a 13 year old North Carolina girl in the online chat service KIK over the course of four days in late January of 2015, and induced the girl to send him nude and sexually explicit photos of herself. He also sent nude photos of himself to the girl.

Galaxy Gymnastics Owner Charged With Kiddie Porn

The owner of a Freehold gymnastics facility that caters to teen and pre-teen girls was arrested on Monday and charged with two counts of third degree possession of child pornography, according to Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

Ronald L. Charles, 51, of Love Lane in Freehold Township attempted to send multiple images on child pornography from his personal email address, according a tip CyberTip received by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit and the New Jersey Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Regional Task Force from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Asbury Park Man Charged With Kiddie Porn

Johan J. Murrieta, 20, of the 300 block of 8^th Avenue in Asbury Park, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with 4 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, according to a statement by Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

A series of CyberTips received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating child pornography was being distributed electronically lead to an investigation by the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office Computer Crimes Unit, Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force which revealed that on three separate days, images of child pornography were distributed using three different email accounts – all the accounts were accessed by an individual using an IP address associated with Murrieta’s home.

Colts Neck Man, 22, Pleads Guilty to Federal Kiddie Porn Charges

Chad Weber, 22, of Colts Neck pleaded guilty to one federal count of possession child pornography charges today before U.S. District Court Judge Anne E. Thompson in Trenton.

Weber admitted possessing sexually explicit images of a 12-year old Pennsylvania girl with whom he had an online relationship in 2013, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

The young man was released on unsecured bail of $100,000 and subject to home confinement with electronic monitoring when he surrendered to federal authorities last June.  He remains free on unsecured bail until his sentencing which is scheduled for June 22, 2015.  The electronic monitoring device was removed from Weber today, according to a spokesman for Fishman.
