Marine Pilot who flew Obama and Christie post Sandy says Christie’s his guy

The Marine One pilot who flew President Barack Obama and Governor Chris Christie after Hurricane Sandy met Christie at a campaign stop in New Hampshire yesterday, according to coverage at NJ.com

Lt Col Peter Reitmeyer said, after meeting Christie and getting his autograph on a photo he took of the governor and Obama in 2012, that he would vote for any Republican over Hillary Clinton and that right now, Christie is his guy.

Federal Judge: Christie’s Bridgegate Lawyers Hid Investigation Content

IMG_6905 (765x1024)The federal judge presiding over the trial of Governor Chris Christie’s former Deputy Chief of Staff Bridget Ann Kelly and former Port Authority Deputy Executive Director Bill Baroni in the George Washington Bridge lane closures ruled yesterday that Christie’s taxpayer funded lawyers used a clever, calculated tactic that had “the same effect” as deleting and shredding documents at the center of the so called independent investigation into the matter which purportedly exonerated Christie.

“The taxpayers of the State of New Jersey paid GDC (Gibson Dunn & Crutcher) to conduct a transparent and thorough investigation. What they got instead was opacity and gamesmanship. They deserve better,” wrote Judge Susan D. Wigenton.

Christie’s Bridgegate legal tab climbs to $8 million

Is Christie coming home?

Chris Christie sounded an awful like the Republican governor of New Jersey this afternoon when he addressed the NJ Business and Industry Association Public Policy Forum in East Winsdor.

He almost sounds like he’s in 2010 form, ready to fight with the Democratic Legislature and their union patrons.

Christie said he is ready to lead the fight to keep New Jersey affordable “so that our people can get great jobs, raise their families and live the kind lives they want to live in this state. ”

That would be a welcome development.
