Transcript: Curley called DiMaso a “Staten Island Guinea”

Disgraced Freeholder John P. Curley

The report prepared by retired Acting Supreme Court Justice Mary Catherine Cuff states that disgraced Freeholder John P. Curley referred to Assemblywoman Serena DiMaso as a “Staten Island Guinea,” according to the transcript of federal court proceedings Curley has brought against Monmouth County.  DiMaso was a Monmouth County Freeholder at the time that Curley said “that Staten Island guinea” and “I ought to stab her with my insulin pack.”

Staten Island is the New York City borough where DiMaso was raised. “Guinea” is a derisive ethnic slur that refers to people of Italian heritage. The slur is derived from “Guinea Negro” a term that referenced Blacks or people of mixed ancestry from Guinea, the African country in West Africa. The term is “the most vile” one can call an Italian, according to Urban Dictionary, and is used as a slur for Italians because of many of them have darker skin than Anglo Saxons/Germans, according to the Racial Slur Database. Sex Offender Going Door To Door For John Pallone in Long Branch

Long Branch residents are advised not to let their children answer the door this weekend when canvassers for John Pallone’s mayoral campaign come knocking for votes.

An alert Long Branch resident tipped us off to the fact that Christian Hendrickson, a Tier 2 level registered sex offender who was convicted in 2012 of Endangering the Welfare of a Child for Possessing and Sharing Child Pornography went door to door last weekend with Pallone and his running mate Bill Dangler.

Questions For Long Branch Mayoral Candidate John Pallone

Congressman Frank Pallone speaks at his brother’s get out the vote rally, May 3, 2018. Social media photo

John Pallone is the only Long Branch mayoral candidate who has not responded to MMM’s request for an interview.

Mayor Adam Schneider’s interview has been viewed over 5,600 times since we posted it on Monday.  Avery Grant’s interview has been viewed almost 2000 times since we posted yesterday.  Voters are obviously engaged.  In 2014, less than 3,000 votes were cast in the Long Branch mayoral election. This time it will probably be more than double that.

Other outlets have reported that Pallone is dodging questions from the media or that he wants the questions in advance.  In the hopes that Pallone will call back for that interview, we’re posting questions we have for him:

Avery Grant Dishes About Joe Ferraina and John Pallone: Long Branch Mayor’s Race

Avery Grant, the Long Branch School Board Member who is running for mayor of Long Branch against incumbent Adam Schneider and Councilman John Pallone invited MMM into his home for an interview on Wednesday afternoon.

In the five minute clip above, Grant reveals how former Superintendent of Schools Joe Ferraina tried to get him to run for council on Pallone’s ticket. Grant said he refused because Pallone “doesn’t exhibit leadership.”   Grant said that Ferraina is a real leader, that he wanted Ferriana to be the candidate to challenge Schneider, but that the former superintendent couldn’t do so because of the scandal surrounding the school board’s $600,000 settlement of a sexual harassment lawsuit against him.

Grant confirmed that Ferraina’s office was sound proof and had a fancy bathroom, as alleged in the “sex slave” lawsuit.  Read the rest of this entry »
