Kryillos to crash Menendez’s Twitter Town Hall

U.S. Senator Bob Menendez is having a Twitter Town Hall meeting tomorrow to tweet about the state of oil and gas prices.  State Senator Joe Kyrillos, the presumptive GOP nominee challenging Menendez this fall is crashing the twarty and encouraging his supporters to do the same.

Calling the event The First Debate, Kyrillos will be joining the Twitter Town Hall to directly answer questions from @JoeKyrillos2012.

The twarty starts tomorrow, Wednesday March 28 at 3:30 pm. Twitter users can tweet their questions with the hashtag #AskMenendez.

    3 debate forums have been dodged by Kyrillos in Keyport, Montville, and this evening in Newark.

    He responded to hosts of each debate saying he had a conflict with schedule. What is more important than a debate?

    All three Senate candidates attended the debates including Rullo, Bader, and a third guy registered with FEC.

    Rullo has a big picture of chicken, and is calling Kyrillos a chicken on facebook today, lol.

    Rullo made several challenges to debate Kyrillos 10 times before June 2012.

    Good for Joe Rullo – he should question and call out the other candidates who aren’t willing to debate. Just because Kyrillos has the party line and has been a State Senator for 20+ years doesn’t mean he is above any of the other candidates or above the voters who have questions and issues that need to be addressed. Kyrillos should be in front of the people, answering tough questions, the same as any other candidate who has submitted/plans to submit their petition of nomination and leaving the primary open for the voters to decide. I applaud Rullo for being willing to take on the establishment and call out their candidate even though Rullo’s going to lose and I’m not going to vote for him.

    Debates among the candiates are premature. We do not even know who has suffiicent signatures. Once the candidates are certified by petition then a debate would be appropriate. Otherwise a legitiamte candiate can winfd up debating random crackpots.

    So far, the only people picking the candidate are those on the county committies. Since the nominee will actually be decided by the voters on primary day, I think there should be one debate which could include R candidates who qualified to get on the ballot. Voters deserve at least one chance to see all of the candidates who would like to be NJ’s next Senator. Would actually be a smart move for Mr. Kryillos since it would be televised and give him some free air time and exposure.
