Ocean Township Sewer Bill Scam
The Ocean Township Police Department is warning residents about an email scam seeking payment of sewer bills.
A township resident reported receiving an email requesting payment of the sewer bill via an attached link, the OTPD said in a nixle announcement.
The Ocean Township Sewer Authority does NOT use any websites or third parties claiming to be a payment reminder. Payments or bills are done only through the mail.
OTPD advises residents not to respond to the email and to direct any questions to the appropriate township department.
