Brookdale professor drops the F-bomb on his conservative student.
A New Jersey community college is investigating why a professor shouted the F-word at a student in an incident that was caught on camera. The student identifies as politically conservative, and the incident has sparked complaints about the college as a liberal atmosphere where alternative political viewpoints are not tolerated.

for giving another example of how the people of “love” and “tolerance” are actually far from it. Hope this incident helps to slow the obvious left- leaning slide of our fine county college- am calling upon their admin and board to take firm action : that either we can be an institution of free ideas, discussion, and debate, or we might need to change the school’s name to: “ Liberals Only” Indictrination Academy.
It appears this young man is not seeking an education but rather affirmation. Perhaps Liberty University would be more in keeping with beliefs he’s rather weren’t challenged.
College is a place where you go to learn and learning includes challenging long held beliefs.
What’s next. Blubberings from Boot Camp because the drill sergeant yelled at somebody.
Howard Finkelstein has a long and illustrious career behind him at Brookdale. It would be a shame if this whiny little bitch had any other impact than the space wasted on him here.
fewer and fewer colleges any person with conservative views can go to, without fear of constant harassment and downright physical danger, these days!. The fact that you name one private school, is a good example.. Anyone who can give statistics and examples that refute this truth, that the vast majority of school administrations and staffs everywhere, are primarily towing the leftist lines, is welcome to do so. You can’t. I am glad my kids got through college relatively unscathed, although one turned out pretty liberal, but not violently so. This new thing about actual classes and seminars denigrating and shaming people for their “ whiteness,” is just as despicable as segregation was in past generations: it is not our job to now punish anyone for being who or what they are, nor is it our job to “make up for” any past unfair discretions. Rather than teaching mutual respect, how to think, and promote exchanges of ideas, to try and solve societal ills, the haters, largely on the left, take sick pleasure in constantly stirring the pot, dividing us further, and creating even more chaos and hatred. Shameful!
This professor is about as insecure and unprofessional as it gets. Typical liberal tactic – if a student doesn’t tow the liberal line shout them or in this case, curse them down. The only lesson those kids learned in that class is how not to act like a confident, knowledgeable person. Just another reason to get rid of this intolerant, far left hack.
A professor/teacher is supposed create an atmosphere that is open to an exchange of ideas and discourse. I was worked over by a lefty professor 27 years ago at Brookdale for challenging her for her anti-Catholic remarks and attempts to intimidate conservative students. The rest of the students in the class, along with myself, wrote a letter to the department chair about the treatment conservative students were receiving. Not much came of it. Things were a lot simpler then. I can’t imagine what it’s like now. Finklestein is there to teach, not indoctrinate.
That is the same liberal bastion where the LEFTY professors went after conservative Joe DiBella, created an atmosphere that led to his life being threatened and demanded he resign; because he was conservative! And DiBella was a solid guy who got rail-roaded. So this story is NO shock. That place is a disgrace! But this is the state of colleges across the USA. It is all LEFT period which is pathetic. So long as you agree with these LEFTY professors all is good. You raise a conservative view, you are labeled a mean, evil racist and people start dropping F-bombs against you.
Can I just say, the viewpoint that both men and women can get sexually harassed is NOT counter to a left-leaning perspective. Of course that is true, and I can’t think of ANY liberal friends who would disagree with that. So please don’t frame this as liberal nutjob professor vs. conservative student. It seems the views the professor held are wayyyy out of the orthodoxy here.
@liberal – sorry to break it to you, but to liberals, only women can be harassed, only whites can be racists, only gays can be discriminated against, only illegal aliens can be victims and so on. In fact, liberals are the real intolerant bigots because they see certain groups as inherently different, weaker and in constant need of dependency on liberals to survive.
According to The Daily Caller, Professor Howard Finkelstein has reportedly used the N-word in class when speaking to a black student. Finkelstein has reportedly referred to another student who was a veteran as a “murderer” who “[took] pride in killing innocent people for money.”

If this man uses the N word too he is a disgrace and should be fired! Imagine if a conservative professor threw an F bomb at some snowflake liberal student. Rachael Maddoff and the other libs would be screaming and they would threaten that person’s life too. That place Brookdale is a sad story and the County should pull their funding and clean house!
So he used the word “nigger” in a college classroom when discussing the incredible whiteness of being – white. Clutch the pearls. Alert the media. (Oh, that’s right. That’s why we’re here). Why waste your money on college if you’re not there to experience life in all its shades and degrees? Fifty shades of grey ain’t just a lousy book. It’s the color of life.

If you think it is ever ok for a white professor to repeatedly use the n-word in a classroom whilst addressing a black student, then you are even dumber than I originally thought.
