Election Day Predictions 2017
Kim Guadagno will be elected the 56th Governor of New Jersey by less than 2000 votes.
The Associated Press will not call the NJ gubernatorial race until Thursday due to the failure of the vote reporting systems in Essex, Hudson, Camden and Middlesex counties which will prevent the vote from being counted. CNN and NJ.com will report rumors that the New Jersey election was hacked by the Russians.
Steve Sweeney will survive the millions spent against his reelection by the NJEA. The teachers’ union will lose considerable influence in Trenton and its membership will revolt against leadership and reform the association. Guadagno and Sweeney will have a stronger and more effective reform agenda than Christie and Sweeney had during the first Christie’s term.
Jennifer Beck will be reelected to the State Senate representing the 11th Legislative District by 5%. Vin Gopal will declare victory because he came closer than anyone ever came against Beck. Gopal will blame the lack of NJEA spending on his race and MMM for his defeat. He will then change his residence to Colts Neck and launch a campaign for Congress against Chris Smith. Gopal will join the First Aid Squad in Colts Neck.
Rob Accera and Michael Whelan will be elected to the General Assembly in the 11th Legislative District. Eric Houghtaling will move to North Carolina. Joann Downey will get appointed back up Municipal Prosecutor in Neptune, Asbury Park and Freehold Boro.
Declan O’Scanlon will be elected to the State Senate in the 13th Legislative District. O’Scanlon will replace Joe Kyrillos in the upper chamber.
Amy Handlin will be reelected to the General Assembly in the 13th. Serena DiMaso will be elected to the General Assembly in the 13th, creating a vacancy on the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders.
Sam Thompson will be reelected to the State Senate in the 12th Legislative District. Assemblymen Ron Dancer and Rob Clifton will also be reelected in the 12th.
Robert Singer will be reelected to the State Senate in the 30th Legislative District. Sean Kean will be reelected to the Assembly. Ned Thomson will be elected to his first full term in the Assembly.
Freeholder Director Lillian Burry will be reelected. Patrick Impreveduto of Holmdel will be elected to the Monmouth County Board of Freeholders.
In Wall Township, Ann Marie Conte will be reelected to the Township Committee as an Independent. Wall Republicans will keep fighting with each other.
In Hazlet, Sue Kiley will be reelected to the Township Committee with over 65% of the vote. Vincent Solomeno will move back to Amsterdam in search of Cindy.
In Holmdel, serial candidate Larry Luttrell will lose again. Mayor Greg Bountempo and Dr. Rocco Pascucci will be elected to the Township Committee.
In a major upset, John Dwyer, Derek DeLuca, and Patricia Branch will be elected to the Township Council in Marlboro.
Middletown Township will have the highest turnout in Monmouth County, providing huge margins for Guadagno, the Republican LD 13 candidates and the Republican Freeholder candidates. Tony Fiore and Stephanie Murray will outperform all other candidates on the ballot and win with 70% of the vote.
Ed Gillespe will be elected Governor of Virgina. NBC’s Chuck Todd will cry on live TV.
Is it April 1st already?
Don’t let your wife read MMM today, Jeff. 😉
would be true! Last night at a good and raucous rally in Neptune City, Kim and Carlos were excellent: asking us all to call 5 on our contact list, and get them out to vote. They showed how smart, decent, and down to earth they are And, how much NJ needs them. Please, get out,and get more out, every single person really counts today! And, if you are a praying person, say a prayer for them, and for our ability to stay in NJ..
Vice Chair and great lady, loyal Republican, will also get re- elected on Nov. 7, and her friends will start her campaign for Freeholder on Nov. 8! 👍😉
