U.S. Attorney General Loretta Lynch announced this afternoon that she is closing the Hillary Clinton email investigation based upon the recommendation of FBI Director James Comey. “Late this afternoon, I met with FBI Director James Comey and career prosecutors and agents who conducted the investigation of Secretary Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email system during her time as Secretary of State,” Lynch said in a statement released on the Justice Department website.  “I received and accepted their unanimous recommendation that the thorough, year-long investigation be closed and that no charges be brought against any individuals within the scope of the investigation.”

Brent Sonnek-Schmelz, the business man running for Congress against 28 year incumbent Frank Pallone in the Monmouth/Middlesex 6th District, said that Clinton’s free pass is more than enough reason to clear out partisan political puppets, like Pallone, from both political parties.

“To entrenched partisan insiders like incumbent Frank Pallone, the fact that Hillary Clinton escaped criminal prosecution for recklessly putting top secret national security information at risk is selfishly viewed as good for Democrats and bad for Republicans as it relates to the November election.  If Congressman Pallone had any guts, he would publicly criticize Mrs. Clinton for repeatedly lying to the American people. Sadly, he’s a career back bencher, who is incapable of independent thought or making a move without someone else pulling his strings.

I am running with no strings attached, to represent regular Americans across the political spectrum who believe justice should be blind and applied equally to all citizens regardless of your bank balance, your gender or your ethnicity.  It’s time to purge Washington of the career insiders in both parties who get to play by a different set of rules than the rest of us and who helped create this mess of a system.”

Hours after FBI Director Comey announced the litany of Clinton’s transgressions and his recommendation that she not be prosecuted, Pallone took to facebook to promote the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee’s appearance today in Atlantic City.
