Hazmat situation at county jail appears to be a false alarm

9:42 PM APP.com and News12 both reported in the last half hour that there is a hazardous materials situation at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution.

Sheriff Shaun Golden told MMM that the situation looks to be a false alarm.   Golden said that no one is sick at the facility and that precautionary test are being performed.  So far all tests are negative for any hazardous materials.

I guess the week and 1/2 long incident at the Courthouse was also a “false alarm” huh?

Not that I have any evidence of such or am accusing any specific persons of such, because we all know that the humans made of flesh and bone who take those public sector jobs are of the highest caliber, but I do certainly wonder sometimes if maybe some hourly employees just want to make a few extra bucks in OT pay and create some non-problems of their own, almost the way some firemen become arsonists. Just sayin’.

Hogan you are such an asshole. Just kill yourself already.

  4. James Hogan said at 3:12 pm on July 26th, 2012:

HAH! Why so mad at me for suspecting that not every police or law-enforcement officer is the great, honest soul you believe in? Or are you mad that I mentioned that some firemen become criminals in the same way I’d mention that some priests and rabbis become criminals? I’m sorry that I don’t buy into your Caste system where by definition every police officer is a hero, infallible and all-knowing. They are men made of flesh and bone and just like there is a fast-food cashier who is terrible at their job, there is a police officer who is terrible as their job.

You’re such an angry person… hopefully you’re not in law-enforcement with that attitude.

Sounds like you just described yourself with that last sentence. You’re an angry asshole that hates cops because you’re jealous that they can carry a gun and you can’t. I’ve seen your bullshit rants in the past.

  6. James Hogan said at 4:14 pm on July 26th, 2012:

It’s clear who you are, use your name. Why hide like coward? Again, in your little Caste system, a cop’s life is more valuable than any other and a cop should be able to defend themselves, everyone else can be left to the criminals. Again, you’re angry because I question if those you hold in such high regards could just be equally fallible men, and you’re clearly part of the problem, one of the many rotten ones.

    Jim,

Looks like “Name (required)” took some time off during the problems at the courthouse.

  8. Jim Sage said at 4:21 pm on July 26th, 2012:

James will never change. He is so anti police.
He is very, very angry. Maybe its timeLong Branch PD scrutinizes those handgun permits a little more closely.

  9. James Hogan said at 5:06 pm on July 26th, 2012:

    There it is….

I agree, Long Branch police doesn’t do their job well, ever. Maybe it’s time those “heros” are replaced with competent people the same way a terrible fast-food cashier would be replaced.

But with the Caste system you believe in, the police are all great and are never wrong, you/they never fail at their jobs and if one should question any such failure or imperfection, they are “anti-police”, “jealous” and “angry”. Figures that a life-longer member of the police Caste system isn’t concerned. Again, hopefully too bad you’re not in law-enforcement with that attitude.

If a guy could start a fire on a nuclear sub undergoing a refit so that he could get off work early, anyone could do anything at a jail.

You know why I don’t come her much anymore and post? It’s because of hateful comments from POS’s and hyperbole from people like Sage

pass away recently?.. if, so, it’s kind of creepy to be posting with his name.. if not, then it’s two guys with the same name?.. as for hazmat at the jail,( accept it or not, it is one of the best-run facilities in the country), all it takes is one call from a friend or fam member of a prisoner, or one crank, from one disgruntled employee, to start the reactionary, publicity-ball rolling: the county spent thousands of taxpayer dollars recently,to clean,re-clean, and test the courthouse, where nothing bad, and no real souce, was found..when will some of these jerks understand that by raising attention-getting, unnecessary ruckuses, we, the taxpayers, get to pay even more??.. “DUMB” knows no bounds, these days!!
