Murphy Cuts School Funding by $336 Million
Governor Phil Murphy announced school funding cuts in the amounts of $336 million due to the pandemic related revenue shortfall, northjersey.com reports.
Monmouth County school districts are taking a $5,409 million hit, with Long Branch ($1,986,441), Freehold Boro ($1,430,309) and Red Bank ($537,624) bearing the brunt.
