Today, Tuesday October 17, is the last day to register to vote
If you’re not registered to vote and you want to have a say in choosing New Jersey’s next Governor, your next Senator, Assembly members, Freeholders and municipal officials, you need to act today.
Monmouth County Clerk Christine Giordano Hanlon reports that the Supervisor of Elections Office at 300 Halls Mills Rd., Freehold Township, will be open until 9 p.m. tonight in order to accommodate new voters. Additionally, the Bradley Beach Municipal Clerk’s Office is staying open till 9 p.m. to accept new registrations. Ocean Township’s Clerk is staying open until 7 p.m.
New voters may also register at your Municipal Clerk’s office, be sure to call for the hours and the location.
“I urge everyone to exercise their right to vote and register for the fall elections,” said Hanlon. “Registration is easy and the right to vote is the cornerstone of our nation’s freedom and continued liberties.”

A driver’s license number or the last four digits of your Social Security number must be entered on the New Jersey Voter Registration form.
In order to register to vote, you must be at least 17 years of age and a U.S. Citizen. Only individuals who are at least 18 years of age on Election Day will be permitted to vote.
