Amazon should recognize the tremendous public and private schools of Monmouth with some of the highest SAT scores in America! We have a highly educated workforce. We are close to NYC, have excellent ferry, road and train systems, great parks and open space, 26 miles of beaches and hundreds of miles of bay and rivers for the high quality of life family’s desire. Compared to many cities, the area has affordable housing, low crime and a “cool factor” that is an added bonus.
More big benefits of Fort Monmouth. Since the fort was exempt from taxes the County would not sustain a big hit on property taxes by working with the company. Amazon should also recognize that with MONMOUTH, a Republican County, they will not be shaken down every other year by the CORRUPT DEMOCRAT MACHINE.

Trump’s kid also owns the mall next to Ft Mon and is or was planning a yuuuuge investment there; could be a good or bad thing for an Amazon pitch. With 18/parkway on one sude of property and NJT Coast line on the other travel seems reasonable. Mon Exec airport is close by for small/charter flights… probably not the worst place for Amazon, aside from NJs dem voting habit and stupid high taxes.

someone get Chris Smith on it… he likes to rescue lost folks, and this area is lost.
