Freeholder Serena DiMaso announced her endorsement of Patrick Impreveduto for the GOP nomination for Monmouth County Freeholder:

“Pat Impreveduto has been a tireless public servant for the people of Holmdel, as an educator, parent, coach, Board of Education member, Township Committee-person and Mayor,” DiMasso said.   “Monmouth County is fortunate that my dear friend of more than 20 years as chosen to continue his public service in his run for Freeholder.

“As a leader of the Holmdel Township Committee, Pat has done a remarkable job holding the line on taxes and working diligently on the re-use of Bell Works.  After many years serving together in Holmdel, I have no doubt that the Freeholder Board will be well served with Pat’s insight, passion and conservative values.  As I prepare to represent the 13th district in Trenton, my mind is at ease that Pat Impreveduto will be serving in Freehold.”

DiMaso, a likely nominee for Assembly in the 13th legislative district, served on the Holmdel Township Committee with Impreveduto from from 2008 until she was elected to the Freeholder Board in 2012.

this is a good candidate- perhaps even the Second Coming.. but sorry, this still smacks of an orchestrated “political assassination” of a sitting elected officeholder, by their own.

That may be true. Just grateful NO BOB WALSH although watching that bumbling boob at the convention dribble all over himself would have been priceless!

Correction…….the story speaks to him having accumulated the sick time. This is a non-story and he is fine. Various sources have now confirmed NO issue. Good it was addressed now and resolved here long before the election!! NO ISSUE! Great news. Go Liliane and Pat!!

why a long-time educator would resign from such a high-paying gig like that job was, over use of sick time. Makes no sense. Hope the Democrats don’t beat him over it.
