In an interview with NJTV’s Michael Aron broadcast this weekend, former U.S. Senator Bob “the Torch” Torricelli inferred that Barack Obama was not prepared ready to be President of the United States and that his policies have caused irreparable harm in the Middle East.

Torricelli said that Obama is risking the last two years of his administration by issuing his immigration Executive Order and he blamed Obama for the Democrats loss of the United States Senate.

The remarkably frank 28 minute interview can be viewed here.

“The idea of being President of United States after being in the United States Senate for four years is something I’ve never witnessed in another western democracy,” the former Senator said, “It ‘s a highly unusual thing to do and it was a great risk by the American people.  Can you  govern the world’s largest, most complex institution after being part of it for four years?   There is no record that that is a successful formula.”

Pressed by Aron to say that Obama was not ready to be president, Torricelli said, “I spent all of my adult life in the federal government.  I still learned everyday until the day that I left. It was so complex and difficult to master.  He (Obama) is a smarter man that I, but if he could do it after two years and then start campaigning for the presidency, then he’s remarkably smarter.”

“So he’s been learning on the job too?” Aron asked.  “I think that’s fair,” the Torch responded.

Here we go again, distracting with attacks on people rather than commenting on an article.

Come on folks, you shoot yourself in the feet with such. Maybe then that’s why you don’t use a name. You’re afraid of the repercussions.
