Final: Burry and Rich win with a comfortable margin

With all districts and vote by mail ballots counted, Freeholder Director Lillian Burry and Deputy Director Gary Rich have been reelected.

After a major software snafu with the tabulation software that kept election officials up all night, the numbers were reported on County Clerk M. Claire French’s website at 6:13:58 this morning.

147,150 ballots were cast.  Burry 72,050, Rich 72,754, Luttrell 63,922, Grillo 63,102 IMG_5894 (1024x699)

    I stand corrected.

Looking at the early numbers last night, I thought there was some bullet voting going on. There was not.

Voters did indeed split their votes, but to no great extent as those faux Republicans for the Lawless Duo signs suggested.

Those split votes could be from Republicans, Independents and Democrats alike; and 800 split votes over the total number of votes is meaningless.

The signs were just an attempt to depress Republican turnout and split their votes with a false message. It failed MISERABLY, like the newspaper.

Again, as I stated last night, Vin Gopal has used all his arrows with this utter failure of the same old message and game he has played for the last three years.

Worse, he blew money from out of the County, especially that from Essex County. I wonder how Joe DiVincenzo of Essex County is feeling about Vinny today.

A joke, yes, a joke; but I wonder if Joe D “knows someone who knows someone.”

    Careful Vinny 🙂

But Monmouth voters soundly defeated the idea of using Essex County as a model for Monmouth County. Surely, Vinny wishes he had that moment as a do over.

@Jim You are miserable person. And some day you will have to answer for your hate.

Thank God the voters rejected the Hudson County garbage tactics in our own fine county. Congrats Lillian and Gary!

    @ J O JrSmith.

Well, look who showed up again…

Socrates has a quote for you:

“When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser.”

Tell me, what was hateful about my comments? The fact that I spoke the truth?

Or was it a joke, which was far more civil than any of the hate and lies from your own Democrat friends during this race; here and across the country.

“Some Day You Will Have To Answer” for your hateful personal attacks here on this blog, and get banned for life; because you add ZIP, ZERO, NADA, NOTHING to the conversation that is meaningful.

    @ JRSmith

Learn how to spell before you come back.

That you failed to answer my question above only shows who the hater is.

And if you only hang around to attack people during political elections; well that just goes to show that you have nothing to contribute other than hacking up people you disagree with.

What you haven’t learned is that so many people I know and have met are laughing at you along with me. Had a great in person conversation with a bunch of them Monday night.

You fail to understand that I love to draw people like you out, who continue to do the same old thing, pile hateful comment on top of hateful comment fully illustrating that YOU nuts are the haters. Worse, you never provide facts that back up your flaccid arguments which goes on to illustrate how empty your soul is.

Not wasting another keystroke on you here.
You can have the last line. Betcha it will be a snore fest.
