Phoenix Feeley Released on Good Time Credit
Topless advocate Phoenix Feeley was released from the Monmouth County Correctional Institution, on good time credit, this morning at 9am, according to Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Cynthia Scott.
At no time during her incarceration was Feeley’s health in danger. Despite her hunger strike, she was constantly monitored by the jail’s medical staff. At all times her vital signs were good.
Bill Spadea’s Chasing Jersey reported last night that Feeley is willing to die in Monmouth County Jail for women’s right to go topless wherever men do.

That was never going to happen. A source in the Sheriff’s Office told MMM that if Feeley’s health was ever endangered, a Court Order would have been sought to force feed her intravenously.
God bless Phoenix Feeley. She is a courageous patriot.
Art, your source in the Sheriff’s office ought to be ashamed of himself. No government, particularly that one that claims to respect individual liberty, would/should ever force-feed a citizen against their will.
In case you forgot, and with thoughts of a hero … God bless Bobby Sands
Take a look at what force feeding actually entails
thats it Sheriff, force-feed her – pushing people around is what you so best!
Or what? Personally, I think we’ve had enough of this issue for one summer.. In a couple of weeks, nobody’ll care about who’s going bare-chested, it’ll be too cold..
Why is she holding her breasts up and covering her nipples? Men don’t do that, ever.

I think molon labe has become the new ‘bill.’
Weird. Just plain weird.

@ John Kaplow – What an idiot you are. What, you want the girl to die on the Sheriff’s watch and create a bigger controversy over a moron?
@Why? VERY interesting and appropriate point. If she wants to bear her breasts, why not go all the way rather than cover them up? This is just an attention grabbing scheme.
@SenseCommon – I would even give Moron Lube that much credit.
And finally,
@Moron Lube Job – you are as dumb as the day is long.

Why not help the rekindled “journalism” career of Wiener twit pal Sydney Leathers by having her interview Feeley about the new front line of equality?
Torturing noncompliant prisoners is barbaric and unacceptable. There is no question in my mind that force feeding is a form of torture. Anyone who perpetrates it, from the lowliest prison guard to the leaders who authorize it should be brought up on human rights charges, or removed by any other means possible.
[…] Here in New Jersey, Feeley’s recent efforts fell, umm, flat. She got herself arrested for going topless, twice in the same day, in Spring Lake in 2008, fought her conviction of violating Spring Lake’s anti-nudity ordinance up to the NJ Supreme Court and lost. Rather than pay her $816 fine, Feeley went to Monmouth County Jail and staged a hunger strike. A GoTopless organized protest drew two fully clothed women. Feeley was released early and healthy. […]
