Pallone punts on women’s right to choose to be topless
Congressman Frank Pallone stopped at Asbury Park’s Night Out celebration this evening where Mayor Myra Campbell introduced him as a candidate for “State Senate.”
MMM caught up with Pallone for a brief moment before the formal festivities and asked him to take a question about equal rights. He said he couldn’t answer whether women should have the right go topless wherever men do because no one had ever asked him that question before.
He said he doesn’t think the New York City woman sitting in Monmouth County Jail for going topless in Spring Lake has much of a case because of laws against indecent exposure.
The Democrats Who Have A War On Women Since Pallone Is NOT For Full Women’s Rights 🙂
His presence in Asbury park begs the question why is he not campaigning across the state. Does he think only the 6th CD will vote next week?
a lot of colorful mail going out.. There’s lots of tv, and will be stunned if he doesn’t have a huge ground game for GOTV..
Pallone is a smart campaigner — he’s campaigning in a town with a strong black vote to try to steal some of those black votes knowing that black voters are more likely to vote for black Booker on race alone, the way they voted for black Obama based on race alone. I find it sad that the populace thinks so little of themselves and their elected representatives.
Appearing in Asbury Park for National Night out will not help with the African American votes in Newark, Trenton and Camden. He can win 100% of the vote in Asbury it will not matter unless he gets votes across the state. For someone who was poining for this job for years and is supposedly a smart campaigner, he had a mighty low statewide profile up to now with the current polls reflecting that. he is barely beating the Holt. His Union cronies can drag whoever they want to the polls they cannot control how the person ends up voting.

Geez this man is an embarrassment!
I am definitely voting Cory Booker – wonder what his answer would be?
