Romney Nailed It

Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney needed to show American tonight that he could be the Commander of Chief of the United States military and leader of the free world.  He did just that.

President Obama’s rhetoric that Romney is a “wrong and reckless” war monger fell flat.

Romney successfully intertwined the a strong American economy to successful foreign policy.

Romney used Obama’s record to devastate.  Romney nailed Obama on the apology tour.  While both men expressed similar visions for the next four years, Romney reminded America of the presidents record on the economy and the Middle East.

Romney was presidential.  Obama was aggressive, bordering on petty.

Obama was clearly playing from behind and desperately trying to catch up.  Romney would not be baited into any of Obama’s petty traps.

The lame stream media seems to disagree with your assessment.

I did not hear any fundamental disagreement on foreign policy.

If I did not know that Obama had been the worst, most dangerous American President , in history, I might have supported Obama on foreign policy based on the debate. But I do not agree with Obama’ s, ideas, either, even though he gave the illusion of being less reckless than those of Romney.

Romney never answered the question about how we will be able to afford this bloated, overly aggressive military. Romney wants to deficit spend for another ten years and continue to destroy American prosperity for the privilege of blowing up bombs in countries that are no threat to us. Romney wants to sacrifice a strong defense in order support an unBiblical offense. But the money will not be there to do it.

And neither candidate justified killing 49 innocent men, women and children for every identified terrorist that is targeted.

Nor did I hear why it is OK to stop other countries from obtaining weapons that they need to defend themselves, but we are allowed to have anything that we want.

And there was no mention of observing the Constitution when it comes to foreign policy.

Tonight, you will hear real solutions on CPAN and other TV outlets. At 9 PM, Larry King will host the third party debates.

The media might disagree, but Obama’s reelection chances dropped almost 6% on Intrade overnight. Follow the money!

Wimpyboy…glad to see you are interested in attempted voter supression which is wrong no matter who is doing it. Note that it has nothing to do with same day voter impersonation which is the imaginary reason the various State legislatures passed new govt. issued photo id laws.

By the way, I must of missed it when you posted something about the State of Florida sending threatening letters to tens of thousands of people with Hispanic sounding names who are legal citizens and who are legally resistered voters….sounds exactly what was going on in your example except that it was actually the State sending the letters. Maybe you could provide everyone with the link to your post on that???

Regarding the dabate: If it had gone on another 5 minutes, I think Romney might have ended up endorsing Obama.

With the exception of exactly what the red line is regarding Iran, there was not much regading foreign policy approach that they disagreed on.

    President Romney did just fine.

  10. Tom Stokes said at 1:44 pm on October 23rd, 2012:

Horses? Bayonets? More bovine defecation from BO.

What in the world does that have to do with a shrinking navy?

Newer ships are needed; a strong navy is a projection of a country’s power. Even China is expanding their naval forces.

Technological advances allow for smaller, faster, and more capable ships; but we still need naval power as a weapons platform.

Gee, I thought Obama was trying to teach a kindergarten class about what a carrier and a submarine is. That comment was highly insulting and rather childish; well beneath the dignity of a sitting Commander in Chief.

Romney did seem more Presidential and gave the appearance of not being a radical warmonger (as BO would like to portray him).

    It’s the economy, stupid!
