Will they require a secret handshake to get in? Seriously, that should be alarming to member Democrats.

Candidate Murphy would win the endorsement and the County Line in an open and fair convention in March in a “run away” anyway. Why this cloak and dagger nonsense two month early? Stupid, stupid. As a Goldman Sachs alum there is already serious (and legitimate) concern that he has “bought” the Party Bosses and the nomination, rather than having won people over on merit. This stupid action simply pours gas (highly taxed gas) on the fire and calls into question the legitimacy of a Murphy selection. Did the Democratic “Bosses” learn nothing by last year manipulating the process to force Secretary Clinton on the rank and file as the candidate in 2016? Not sure whether the decision is based on arrogance or political incompetence. Any abuse of power is an affront to the Democratic Process, and this is NOT a fair and Democratic Process. If the few “Bosses” are seeking to suck up to candidate Murphy (who already is a “favorite son” of sorts anyway, pretty much universally supported) then good job. If they are seeking to annoy and piss off the rank and file Democrats whose actual votes you need, after completely excluding them and their views from the early process, well then MISSION ACCOMPLISHED.
