Have NJ Democrats forgotten the BP Oil Spill?

April 20, 2020 marks the 10 year anniversary of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the worst environmental disaster in U.S. history. The explosion killed 11 and the environmental impact extended beyond 57,000 square miles. The human, environmental and economic suffering in the Gulf Coast States continues to this day.

New Jersey Democrats seem to have forgotten.

NJ Dem Chair Gets Pension Boosting Job

Congratulations to NJ Democratic Party Chairman John Currie on his new job as the Public Information Officer of the Passaic County Board of Social Services.  And congratulations to the Board on finally finding the right man for the job after an exhaustive 14 year search.

Currie is the perfect man for the $92,000 part time job because, as the head of the Passaic County Democrats, the New Jersey Democrats, the Passaic Board of Elections and his partnership in a Chevrolet dealership, “he knows everybody,” BSS director Tony Desimone told The Record. An Open Letter to Democrats in New Jersey

Dear Democrats,

We want you. That’s right; we in the Monmouth, Ocean & Middlesex County GOP organizations want you to vote for our candidates on Tuesday November 3rd. The reason? Your own self interest.

Half of you want to leave New Jersey at some point, according to a poll conducted by Monmouth University and the Asbury Park Press. New Jersey actually leads the nation in families fleeing their home state to more affordable places like Florida and North Carolina. For every family that moves to the Garden State two families pick up and leave.

Elections have consequences. It’s no longer my team versus your team, families in New Jersey are hurting. For the last 15 to 20 years Democrats have ruled the State Senate and the State Assembly; with the exception of the Republican Governors we’ve had, we’ve had no reprieve from higher taxes and higher spending. It’s taken a toll on all our families.
