ALGONQUIN JAZZ ENSEMBLE TO SWING AROUND MANASQUAN THIS WEEKEND
Free Concert at Manasquan’s Main Beach on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m.; Jazz Party Hosted at Manasquan Elks Lodge on Sunday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m.
The newly formed Algonquin Jazz Ensemble swings around Manasquan this weekend with performances on Saturday, Aug. 2 at 6 p.m. and Sunday, Aug. 3 at 6 p.m.
Saturday’s concert will be held at Main Beach in Manasquan at 6 p.m. and is free to attend.

Belmar Arts Council Presents a Weekend of Music-Poetry-Books
The Belmar Arts Council is primarily a volunteer organization that is housed in a building located at the corner of 7th Avenue and River Road near the railroad tracks in the Borough of Belmar.
It is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our residents, visitors and neighbors by helping the arts to flourish and offering diverse and exciting experiences in both the visual and performing arts for people of all ages
in a quaint coffee-house atmosphere.

I sure do. All winter I wait for the summer concerts.
I can’t wait to pull my chair out, shake off the cobwebs and
sit and listen to one of our favorite Jersey Shore Groups or a local High School Band.
This Friday, there are two great concerts to choose from
At 7PM, out in front of Hall of Records, located at
1 East Main Street, Freehold
Musicians from the Freehold Borough High School
will play in a 22 piece ensemble, headed by music director Eric Gross.
The Freehold Boro Arts Council will be there and will be
announcing the 2014 Sunday Night Jazz and Blues Series line up.
Or you can head on over to Pyanoe Plaza, located at
Main Street & Ninth Avenue, Belmar at 7PM to hear the
tight harmonies and rhythms of RB EXPRESS

The Atlantic Highlands Police Benevolence Association Local 242
hosts their 27th annual event, which, for many residents of Atlantic Highlands, is an annual rite of Spring on Saturday, May 23rd, 2014
Fine dining, hors d’oeuvres and an open bar combined with a
charity auction with dozens of spectacular prizes are expected, as always, to attract large numbers of residents.Over the years, P.B.A Local #242 has contributed proceeds from the event to local organzations, including : The AH Historical Society, Henry Hudson Regional School and the Atlantic Highlands Elementary School.
Tuesday, May 6, Greater Shore Concert Band Spring Concert
The Greater Shore Concert Bandwill be performing it’s
SPRING PROGRAM tonight at 7:30 PM at the
Lutheran Church of the Reformation, 992 Broadway, West Long Branch
The Greater Shore Concert Band of Monmouth County, New Jersey is comprised of amateur musicians who meet, practice and perform
for the love of music. The band is comprised of approximately
70 musicians whose ages range from students in junior high school to retired individuals.
The band’s concerts consist of marches, symphonies, overtures and
popular music. The band performs a series of winter concerts and a spring concert.
The band is a non-profit and volunteer organization. Band members
are not paid for their services. The band is self-funding through concert ticket sales, program advertisements and donations.
This is a Free Will Offering Event, donations are gratefully accepted
If you miss this performance, the GSCB will be at Wall High School
on Friday, May 9th. This is their fundraising event and tickets are $10
