The Asbury Park Police Department is requesting public assistance in locating George Bland.
Bland, who is known to frequent the beachfront, Cookman, Seventh and Eighth Avenues, was last seen on or about July 15. He suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and is not taking his medication, according to the department’s announcement via nixle. Read the rest of this entry »

The 16 year old boy arrested in connection with the shooting in Asbury Park following the 4th of July fireworks on Thursday night did not shoot the two women who were injured in the incident, according to a source within the law enforcement community. The shooter, “a second gun,” is still at large, the source told MMM.

Adam has been located, the Asbury Park PD announced at 9:06 p.m.
The Asbury Park Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating Adam Rogers, a 19 year old special needs resident of the city.
Rogers suffers from Autism/Asperger’s and is currently without his medication which could cause him to be erratic, impulsive, easily angered and unstable.

The Asbury Park Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor are seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating the individual(s) involved in a shooting in the city on Tuesday afternoon, according to an announcement by Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
One male was found shot yesterday afternoon when the Asbury Park PD responded to a shots fired report at approximately 4:06 p.m. in the area of 1400 Main Street. A 2017 Nissan Altima, which did not belong to the victim, was found to have sustained a single gun shot to the drivers side door. A gun shot was also located on a garbage can near the south side of 1400 Main Street.

Alix Antoine, a 37 year old suspended Asbury Park Police Officer and his sister Patricia Louis, a/k/a Patricia Antoine, 43, of Clifton, were indicted by a Monmouth County Grand Jury today on charges related to their scheme that enabled the sister to receive medical benefits she was not entitled to through the Asbury Park Police Department, according to a statement by Acting Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.
Between June 1, 2009 and April 1, 2013 the siblings knowingly made false statements and tampered with public records resulting in Patricia being enrolled in Alix’s Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance policy provided by the Asbury Park PD.
