Keansburg Police Searching For Missing 11 Year Old Girl

UPDATE: ABBIE HAS BEEN LOCATED; CONDITION NOT DISCLOSED

The Keansburg Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Abbiegal “Abbie” Smith, an 11 year old resident of the borough who was last seen in her Hancock Street apartment at about 9:45 last night and was noticed missing at 10:50 p.m.

Colts Neck Marine among 16 killed in Mississippi military plane crash

Dan Baldassare, 20, of Colts Neck was one of the 16 U.S. servicemen killed on Monday when a KC-130 refueling plane crashed in a Mississippi cornfield.  15 U.S Marines and a Navy sailor perished in the accident.

Asbury Park Man Pleads Guilty to Heroin Distribution

Robert “True” Britt, 45, of Asbury Park pleaded guilty to federal charges of conspiracy to distribute heroin in Ocean and Monmouth Counties today. U.S. District Judge Peter G.
