That really short honeymoon is over. Gov. Chris Christie and Gov.-elect Phil Murphy are at odds over the incoming governor’s request that Christie refrain from spending extra money or doing anything to worsen the state’s finances during his final month in office. Murphy’s 14-item request came in the form of a letter sent to Christie’s office… Read the rest of this entry »

Senator-elect Declan O’Scanlon
By Declan O’Scanlon Republicans must understand our role. It is our job to be skeptical, to challenge, to question, to offer alternatives to Gov.-elect Phil Murphy and his incoming administration. But, it is also our moral obligation to root for the administration’s success. To wish for or foment failure is to wish ill for all New… Read the rest of this entry »

Gov.-elect Phil Murphy often told a story on the campaign trail about how, as a relative newcomer to statewide politics, few people in New Jersey had even heard of him before he jumped into this year’s governor’s race. After his victory last week, the same could be said about one of Murphy’s core fiscal-policy proposals -… Read the rest of this entry »

Middlesex County has been a sanctuary county since June when their all Democrat Freeholder Board voted to release criminally charged illegal aliens from custody in defiance of a federal order that the inmates be held for 48 hours until U.S. Customs and Immigration Enforcement Officers take custody of them.

It’s no wonder Phil Murphy won’t agree to be interviewed by NJTV’s Michael Aron or Tommy G. He’s weird. He doesn’t get New Jersey and he doesn’t understand state government.
If you missed the debate last night, watch it before you vote on November 7.
Murphy came across as your drunk uncle who knows all the problems but changes the subject or gets combative when pressed on how he’ll actually pull off his magical plans.
