Morris May White, 22, of Scotch Plains, was arrested in Asbury Park on Sunday evening and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon after he pepper sprayed a transgender woman who was participating in a sign making event in preparation for Monday’s Stand Against Hate rally in the city, according to The Asbury Park Sun.
White’s arrest in not being treated as a hate crime, according to the report.

Sherrice Lyles and her children
A fire in Asbury Park yesterday has left a single mother and her four children, ages 2 through 11 without a suitable place to live.
Sherrice Lyles was sitting on the porch of the Prospect Ave home she moved into just last week yesterday afternoon when she smelled smoke and heard the alarms go off inside her home. She entered the house and saw flames in her son’s room and attempted to put out the blaze with a fire extinguisher.
The Asbury Park Fire Department arrived shortly after the 4:25 p.m. call, according to Asbury Park Sun.
The blaze was extinguished quickly and there were no injuries.

“College Achieve” charter school is trying to open in Asbury Park. It’s operated by Mike Piscal, who is known in the education field for making charter schools in California go broke, for having lax policy on sexual harassment and choosing spokespeople the likes of Bill Cosby. After California he spent two years in Las Vegas, then recently had a failed attempt to open a charter school in Brooklyn.
Having come back home to New Jersey, he incorporated “College Achieve” charter school with no assets other than the $75.00 filing fee, with an address at his father’s house in Toms River.

The Garden State Film Festival announced today that it will return to its original home in Asbury Park for its “Sweet 16” anniversary after a four year hiatus in Atlantic City.
“We are coming back largely due to the popular and steady demand of our legions of fans,” said GSFF Board Chairman Nicholas J. Falcone While many factors played a role in our decision to return to our original home, we had to listen to them. This move is in no way is a statement about our four-years in Atlantic City, where we were given an incredible reception and great cooperation.”

The Asbury Park Police Department and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office are seeking the public’s help in locating Gina Perrilla, a 13 year old girl who ran away from Child Protection and Permanancy (CP&P, formerly DYFS).
Perrilla is hispanic, 13 years of age, 5’5″, approx 190 to 200 lbs with long curly hair. She is known to frequent Asbury Park. She also claims to be a member of the bloods street gang.
Anyone who sees or comes in contact with her is advised to contact the Asbury Park Police Department at (732)774-1300 or the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office at (732)431-7160

America Rice aka Serenity, the 14 year old girl who yesterday was reported missing since Sunday, February, 19, has returned home safely, according to a report in The Asbury Park Press.
Police said that Serenity returned home safely on Wednesday evening.

The Asbury Park Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 14 year old city girl who was last seen on Sunday, February 19th.
America Rice aka Serenity, is African American, 5’2″, 145 lbs with brown eyes, red/auburn hair, light brown complexion.
Anyone with information about Serenity’s whereabouts is asked to call Detective April Bird at 732-774-1300.

It was revealed earlier this year that Asbury Park New Jersey’s boardwalk real estate is owned and controlled by an Islamic company from the Middle East, Capital Guidance. That company maintains a “Sharia Board” headed by a powerful Pakistani Sheikh, Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani.
Usmani wrote a book, Islam and Modernism, urging jihadists to lay in wait in Western countries until they have enough people here to launch “Jihad with Power.” He wrote that Jihadists should continue to kill until we submit to his religion, Islam.
