The sad saga of former Monmouth County Freeholder John Curley’s career implostion is hopefully over.
The United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit dismissed Curley’s federal lawsuit against his fellow freeholders and the County Administrator and County Counsel on Wednesday.
I
hope everyone had a great weekend here in Monmouth County!
I would like to provide an update of different
projects and initiatives taking place throughout Monmouth County.
As
you may be aware, a few weeks ago my fellow Freeholders and I announced that
the County will allocate $10 million from the CARES (Coronavirus Aid, Relief
and Economic Security) Act to supplement the Community Development Block Grant
– Coronavirus (CDBG-CV).The funding will be utilized to provide grants of up to

Democratic Legislative
leadership has announced they are backing Governor Phil
Murphy’s plan to borrow billions to balance New Jersey’s state budget.
The Governor and Democrats are wrong for advancing
this unprecedented scheme. There is no immediate need to borrow. The state’s Fiscal Year 2020,
which ends September 30th, is balanced and includes a $500+ million surplus. Contrary to what the Governor claims, we are not running out of cash nor are we in
danger of not being able to pay our bills. Why are we rushing to incur tremendous debt?
I am deeply grateful to Republican voters for their overwhelming show of support.
Special thanks to my amazing wife Marie, our talented campaign staff, and the extraordinary leaders of the Republican party.
I’ve worked hard in Congress to write laws that promote jobs, make our communities safer, and all of us healthier—especially during the COVID-19 crisis.

Smith’s office 23 years ago
By Mary McDermott Noonan

another in the fourth congressional district Democrat Primary on a myriad of
issues, Stephanie Schmid has also used
a totally false narrative about an internship in Rep. Chris Smith’s office 23
years ago.
At a hearing of the House Foreign Affairs Committee today, Rep Chris Smith (R-NJ), author of the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act said “the great people of Hong Kong had a sweeping, draconian, anti-democracy policy imposed upon them yesterday—the so-called National Security Law.”
Crews said they were still working Friday to find out how the critically endangered whale that was discovered off the coast of Monmouth County Thursday died.
