Repeat Offender Charged In Holmdel Attempted Murder

Julian Lee, 25, of Freehold, was arrested in Atlantic City yesterday, December 3, and charged with Attempted Murder for the Monday, November 30 shooting and stabbing of a 28 year old Holmdel man, according to an announcement by Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

            Today—October 28th—marks 20th anniversary of the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000—the comprehensive, historic law that I authored to aggressively combat sex and labor trafficking both within the United States and around the world.

The TVPA created a new, well-funded whole-of-government domestic and international strategy and established numerous new programs to Protect victims, Prosecute traffickers and to the extent possible,Prevent human trafficking in the first place.

15 arrested for kiddie porn

Thirteen Monmouth County men, a juvenile from Freehold and a Mercer County man were all arrested and charged with child abuse offenses between July 21 and October 15, according to an announcement by Monmouth County Prosecutor Christopher J. Gramiccioni.

Christopher Swendemen, spokesperson for the Prosectuor’s Office, told MMM that the arrests were not the result of an organized law enforcement operation or sting.

Asbury Park Indigenous People’s Day: A Pretext to Hate Italians

There’s a right way to do an Indigenous People’s Day and a wrong way.  Leave it to today’s Asbury Park to choose a bigoted way.

The right way to do Indigenous People’s Day is to host a celebration of them, where all their cultural markers are observed.

The wrong way is to spend most of the event haranguing Italian Americans for celebrating Columbus, which is what the Asbury Park event turned out to be.  What low self-esteem Native Americans must have if all they can muster at a celebration of themselves is a complaint about other people. That’s who you are?  A complainant? That’s how you define yourselves?

As the election comes upon us, and in response to certain statements made by Congressman Chris Smith’s opponent, Stephanie Schmidt, we have been made aware that Ms. Schmidt has been campaigning on a platform comprised, at least in part, of deceptive untruths regarding the Congressman Chris Smith’s response to the Covid issue.  Contrary to Ms. Schmidt’s claims to the contrary, Congressman Smith has been a champion for those battling the Covid-19 virus; and through his intercedence saved my brother’s life.

Postal Employee Arrested For Dumping Ballots, Other Mail

Nicholas Beauchene, 26, a postal worker who lives in Kearny, New Jersey was arrested by federal authorities for discarding mail, including 99 general election ballots sent from the County Board of Elections and intended to be delivered to West Orange residents, according to an announcement by U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito.
