David Applefield dies suddenly
David Applefield, 64, of Red Bank died suddenly today, MMM has learned.
The candidate for Congress in the NJ-4 Democrat primary collapsed while exercising. He was pronounced at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank.
Applefield was a journalist, author and publisher.
He is survived by his mother Janet, a Holocaust survivor, his wife, Julia, and their children Alex, Anna and Ernesto.
