Break out crowd of 800+ for Golden’s Starry Night
Over 800 enthusiastic supporters gathered at the Eagles Oaks Golf and Country Club in Farmingdale on Friday night to celebrate Sheriff Shaun Golden’s 6th Annual Starry Night Gala.
“Unbelievable, phenomenal energy,” was the consistent comment of those in attendance who were celebrating Golden’s success in leading the Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office and the Monmouth GOP.
“It is unquestionable that the Monmouth GOP is healthier and more spirited that it’s ever been,” said Assemblyman Declan O’Scanlon. In thirty years of participating in the Party, I’ve never felt the level of support and enthusiasm that is being displayed by the Party right now. The level of camaraderie between leaders of the Party at the County and local level is palpable and a pleasure to be a part of.”
Freeholder Tom Arnone, the Master of Ceremonies for the event, said, “The energy and excitement are a testament to the great leadership of Shaun Golden in keeping Monmouth County safe and in bringing us together. It was an honor to serve as emcee.”
“The turnout at the Sheriff’s Starry night event is truly a testament to the strong leadership of Sheriff Golden and our Republican Party,” said Freeholder Serena DiMaso, Golden and Arnone’s running mate. “It is an honor to be a part of a team the continually puts Monmouth First!”
Golden emphasized the great teamwork of both the Sheriff’s office and the Party faithful in his remarks. His acknowledgement of the law enforcement officers present prompted a standing ovation from the united crowd.
“It is very humbling and gratifying to experience such an outpouring of support,” Golden said. “Our teamwork is so important and will only lead to greater things to come for the people of Monmouth County and New Jersey.”
