Anna Little Announces That She’s Running Against Pallone in 2014

Citizen LittleAnna Little wants round three against Frank Pallone.

In an email this morning to past and present supporters, the 2010 and 2012 GOP nominee for New Jersey’s 6th Congressional District seat in the House of Representatives, Little sang a familiar refrain:

I’m Anna Little and I want to work for YOU in Washington

Little said,

By now you must have seen NJ highlighted in news reports about the ongoing “Obamacare” debacle.  Once again Rep. Frank Pallone (CD6 NJ) is defending “Obamacare.” Once again Frank Pallone is ignoring you and all you’ve told him.

Remember when he told us “Obamacare” was a good law and he wrote it?   Now he is  spouting spin about insurance scams and outright denying the facts pertaining to cancelled policies.  When confronted about his statements Frank Pallone sneered at Megyn Kelly and called a Congressional Hearing a “monkey court.”

Is this the best NJ can do?   Is Frank Pallone really the best representative NJ can muster?

You deserve a Congressman who will take your voice to Washington.  You deserve a Representative who will challenge failed policies, cut through spin and tell the TRUTH about “Obamacare.”   I’m Anna Little and I want to work for YOU in Washington.

You fueled our campaign to replace Frank Pallone in 2010, donating your hard earned money to fight special interests in Washington and gathering 125 people strong every Saturday to knock on over 100,000 doors.   You made over 100,000 phone calls to NJ voters and marched on Frank Pallone’s home town over 200 strong, sending the message that YOU are in charge, and YOU will direct your government.

Together we made history in 2010 coming closest to victory in 20 years.   2014 is the rematch.   Are you ready to finish the job?

Please join our effort to replace Frank Pallone in Congress with a hardworking NJ business owner who understands what “Obamacare” means to you and your family.   Please donate whatever you can to gear up for 2014’s epic battle to take back Congressional District 6 for New Jersey families.

We promise to tell the TRUTH about Obamacare.  We promise to work hard to make you and New Jersey proud.

12 Politicos in a hotel decided that the winner of this district for the next 10 years will be Mr. Gerry Mander.

They knew they could count on people to legitimize their work by dutifully holding campaigns and voting like they were taught in grade school was patriotic and would lead to good government.

Gerry Mander, meanwhile, laughs at your collective waste of time.

This woman is a republican and is willing to roll up her sleeves and run against Pallone.

And what happens negative comments from republicans.

That is perfect just what the dems want. Unlike the dems that rally around their own to keep seats the GOP will forever be split because its members can not realize that every will not agree on everything so we continue to be a split party and will never win the seats we need. You would rather have Pallone then a republican because you can not put aside your differences.

And by the way I am just a reader of this blog. Im not a tea party member, just a republican that realizes a republican is better than Pallone and that I will never agree with everything a candidate stands for, but I do know that I do not agree with anything Pallone stands for.

Why cant the GOP put aside its differences and stop eating its own. That goes for all of you.

MMM friends…Everyone needs to listen to what “Unreal” is saying and get onboard the Anna baandwagon right now and help her lock up the nomination early. While your at it, open up those checkbooks and dig deep deep into your pockets. Even though Anna lost in 2012 by 63%-35%, if you try hard enough you can convince yourself that the race was actually much closer than the landslide that it appeared to be and just maybe this time with just a little bit more $$$, that margin can be cut to say 20 points or so.

  7. Tommy De Seno said at 4:54 pm on November 1st, 2013:

    Bob English –

Are Pallone’s numbers more reflective of his quality of campaigning/governing, or they way the lines were drawn creating his district?

  8. @unreal said at 5:53 pm on November 1st, 2013:

    You’re name fits you well.

Anna Little is a two time loser, and CAN NOT WIN. She has lost all respect and is a loose cannon.

Voters do not invest donations in candidates like this; at least in the amounts that would be needed to defeat Pallone. And based on her record and the gerrymandered district, it would be a long shot to get help for different PACS and the RNC.

No doubt she will be joined by those other losers at the vaunted BSTPGl who are desperately trying to stay relevant.

You are right in that a Republican is better than Pallone, but that Republican needs to get elected. Anna has failed at that twice.

And Mr. English, with all due respect; I don’t know you but you sound as delusional as unreal with those thoughts.

  9. Ralph said at 6:38 pm on November 1st, 2013:

Tommy, Pallone won every town in the Bayshore in 2012, even towns that Republicans controlled like Matawan, Atlantic Highlands, Highlands, Keyport, Union Beach, Keansburg, West Long Branch etc – all of those towns have REPUBLICAN MAYORS.

Pallone won because he’s the people choice and its why he took over 65% of the vote. They vote for him even though they vote locally for Republicans.

Nice try blaming gerrymandering when Pallone even wins the Republican towns.

He is arguably the most effective Congressman this state has ever seen.

  10. OMG Ralph said at 6:47 pm on November 1st, 2013:

    the most effective Congressman?

What about Fort Monmouth. And if you call writing Obamacare effective, you need to see a shrink.

Pallone wins Bayshore because he has a lot of fisherman and people with Clean Ocean Action that support him. Why, because it’s on the water Ralphie. That’s about it.

Pallone also wins because SOCIALIST DEMOCRAT MIDDLESEX COUNTY, including Plainfield in Union is in his district.

    THAT, is gerrymandering squared.

What moronic kook juice did you drink?

Dogood- She the best your party can come up with. The fact is your party can not beat Pallone.

  12. Bob English said at 8:09 pm on November 1st, 2013:

Gerrymandering is not exclussvie to one party. Pleanty of examples right here in NJ such as Runyons district which was made much less competitive with Cherry Hill being yanked out of it. In all honosty when both sides are in the backroom with the door closed drawing the lines, I think the number one priority is protecting incumbents rather than making districts more competitive.

Gerrymandering has become so bad nationally that it is estimated that the Dems would have to win the popular vote in Congressional races by at least 7% in order to gain the majority in the House.

Another downside to all the gerrymandering that state legislatures have done the last few years is that districts are much more heavily tilted to one side (R or D). What that means is that Congressmen are much less likely to compromise in order to get things done (budget passed ect.)

  14. omg - Wormy bill is back said at 9:10 pm on November 1st, 2013:

    Hey bill.

Might as well call you out here again for the hateful dolt that you are.

I threw down a challenge to you over on “that other blog.” Give your full name and I’ll donate $500 to your favorite charity. You also have to prove that you are that person. Otherwise, quit with the cowardly personal attacks; STFU and sit down you worm.

Better yet, I will donate $500 to ANYONE’S favorite charity if I get bill’s true name.

Because the one thing I can’t stand is dealing with a hateful coward who makes personal and hateful attacks behind the anonymity of a computer screen.

It’s time to make bill step forward and be held accountable for his hate.

Art has my email address if anyone is bold enough to expose this coward. Because once you bring a hateful coward to light, like a vampire, they turn to dust.

And Bob, you are correct on gerrymandering. God, is there a full moon tonight? 🙂

    Jim Granelli

  15. Ralph said at 12:44 am on November 2nd, 2013:

Hey Granelli – shouldn’t you be off on a ledge somewhere or taking your meds? All Bill said was “She the best your party can come up with. The fact is your party can not beat Pallone.”

If you see that as hateful or personal attacks i think you need to go back and see your shrink pal because whatever they are putting in the water in Red Bank may be affecting you.

And dogood, i appreciate your thoughts but please don’t show how uneducated you are and how little facts matter to you (i know its a common right wing tea party problem, the whole facts thing)

First, if you think that everyone in the Bayshore fishes and thats why they vote for him, man you need to talk to Granelli about what meds hes using. Second, Plainfield and Union County is not in the district. He won 65% of the vote in 2012 with no Plainfield in the District….maybe pat attention. Last, FP won Monmouth County comfortably, he didn’t need it. Even in some of the most Republican towns like Oceanport, he broke even with Little.

Nice excuses, but facts matter and 65% of the people including a comfortable majority of Monmouth County residents re-elected Frank Pallone because he is effective, his constituent services are excellent and he votes the right way.

You and the rest of the 35% can keep complaining, num nuts.

Hey Granelli how are those Red Bank Republicans doing?

  16. Oh Ralph said at 9:20 am on November 2nd, 2013:

First of all, you ought to see some of wormey bill’s personal attacks and hateful comments elsewhere. He deserves all that he gets.

Second, you pretty much did the same thing, so who knows if you are bill.

And third, people that use last names are extremely disrespectful, ESPECIALLY when they hide behind a computer screen, so maybe I should issue the same challenge about you, eh?

So, stay out of it. People who make personal attacks without their full name are irrelevant because they are cowards hiding behind a computer screen.

Now, about Red Bank. They would be doing better if Vin Gopal and the Red Bank Democrats would stop lying

I love this line from Newt Gingrich during Matt Rooney’s interview with him today:

“If you are willing to be consistent and dedicated and you have the courage to continue to advocate for something positive, you eventually wear out the negative naysayers because the average American wants to have a better future, they want to be positive and they are sort of irritated when they hear people that are petty, small minded and stupid” Newt Gingrich

FRIENDS, this is exactly what we need to be doing, pushing back against the bills, ted’s and ralphs of the blogosphere.

We have the courage to back up our talking points with our names. They hide behind the computer screens as anonymous cowards.

THAT says a lot about the courage of their convictions. If they refuse to attach a name to themselves, they must be afraid of connecting themselves to the BIG LIES they tell about others like myself or liberalism itself..

THAT’S what my push back against bill is about. Constant push back shows them to be cowards and haters, and thus irrelevant to the discussion.

  21. One More Thing About said at 1:11 pm on November 2nd, 2013:

    Fighting back.

Now the libs will call me a hater for using the word “fighting,” oye vey. 🙁

It works even with campaign signs. I have two spots her in my neighborhood as well as a few around town where signs are constantly taken this year. I know who the people are. But, I replenish them daily.

You know what? They have just about stopped taking them because they know I will keep putting them out. I don’t mind the extra time. And I do love pushing back at people that have so much hate in their heart that they have to waste time taking signs.

Interesting too, how the UNION highway crews take down only Republican signs, but leave Democrat signs. Hmmmmm, why could that be?

NO, signs don’t necessarily win races. ISSUES win. Signs remind people though to get out and vote for their guy, so putting out signs is important to the process.

We fight back, where ever we can and as often as we can. And sooner or later, the hate and bile that churns in a far left and looney liberal’s belly shows itself, proving our point. They can’t help themselves.

    THAT’S the way you win.

  23. Little has the biggest balls said at 6:41 pm on November 2nd, 2013:

Little is the only one with balls enough to try to build a base of her own and fight Pallone. Remind me again why none of the great and powerful county republicans, or your Lt Gov who lives in Mon Beach, have the balls to challenge Pallone. Where are those assembly republicans who are pretending the property tax cap worked or even helped claiming they can bring that same reform to Washington?

  24. @Little Has said at 8:28 pm on November 2nd, 2013:

First thing, LITTLE has NO MONEY.

And her cohones didn’t do too well the last time, er; make that last TWO times, did they? So, I guess she’s also not doing too good at building that base, huh?

And that makes it difficult for a candidate to raise the kind of money that is needed to beat a candidate with truck loads of money.

They don’t challenge him because it’s a gerrymandered district and he has TON’S of money.

And maybe, the Lt. Governor has exactly the life she wants and maybe she doesn’t want to make the commute. Besides, WTF should they run just because YOU say so?

BTW, she is your Lt. Governor as well, you do understand that bit of the Constitution, I would think.

Do you actually know anything about politics, or do you just talk out of your rear orifice?

Have a nice life with that head in that orifice, ok?

    B. …Chuck Wepner’s brave but ill-fated 1975 effort against Muhammad Ali 20%

    C. …Marvis Frazier’s 1986 round 1 blowout loss to Mike Tyson 10%

  26. Unreal said at 9:35 am on November 5th, 2013:

Oh Brother. I will answer this late and it probably wont be seen. I do not visit and comment on these blogs every day. First of all my post was not an endorsement of Anna Little and the geniuses on this website are right for once I do not know her. My post was an accurate observation of the state of the GOP to the delight of the Dems, especially the far left. Just take a look at Bills snarky comments. Second I always do my research and I will no matter who the nominee is and will be very pragmatic in my choice. I don’t expect to agree with everything the nominee stands for but I willing to bet that I will agree with more of what the nominee stands for than Pallone. I will not stay home unless I find the GOP nominee to be criminal since not voting is the same as voting for Pallone in my opinion.

Lastly, in an effort to illustrate my point, lets take a look at an election where a left of center Dem will win today. That election is the Govenor’s race in Virgina. McAuliffe will win today. Take a look at the pools. Quinnipiac poll states the following:

    (D) McAuliffe 46%
    (R) Cuccinelli 40%
    (L) Servis 8%

The numbers in this race show a very interesting trend. The total center right votes cast trump the number of center left votes cast. This is happening all over the country to the delight of Dems everywhere. This is a result of a fractured party. Unless this changes you can expect this to continue . Do you think that 8% has more in common with McAuliffe or with Cuccinelli?

Unless our Party comes together we are doomed to more of this.

I know you are all smarter than me.

  27. TheMadCow said at 1:14 pm on November 10th, 2013:

    @Unreal,
You’re missing the point. Anna Little is not a viable candidate. She thrives on the politics of division, not unity.

In fact, she is remarkably good at creating chaos and division, but is utterly inept when it comes to running a campaign, or even a small town, for that matter.

If you are really looking to unite factions, then you certainly must be aware that Anna Little has done more harm than good in this regard. Do your research. Look at the RECORD of a potential candidate, cuz’ if it sux, they can’t get elected NO MATTER WHAT THE ISSUES ARE THAT THEY CLAIM TO SUPPORT. If that’s the case, then they’re only telling you what they think you want to hear, anyway.

So find someone worthwhile. A good leader. A competent, skilled human being. Someone who is admired and successful in life, and can handle the negative impact a campaign will have on one’s business, family, personal well-being, and on one’s life in general. Ask them politely if they’d consider running in a primary, and if they do, work your butt off for them. Operate with respect, integrity, and dignity AND ALWAYS with a sense of service to your community.

Oh, and be gracious when commenting on internet blogs. You’ve got to show unity in order to see unity happen.
