Trump to protesters: Go home in peace

Update: The President’s tweet was deleted

President Donald J Trump responded to the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol this afternoon with a video on twitter urging his supporters at the Capitol to go home in peace.

The President repeated his allegations that the election was fraudulent, telling his supporters he understand how they feel.

Twitter blocked the tweet from being replied to, liked or retweeted, they said, due to the risk of violence.

Trumps a disgrace….continuing to repeat his election lies which incited the violence in the first place. 25th Amendment time led by Pence. The gutless cowards in Congress that have supported Trumps election lies or choose to remain quiet are unfit to hold office. God Bless the United States Of America
